But seriously they have a Centralised Training Program with High Government Support & Funding, structured to maximise olympic achievements.

It really is remarkable, I know we’re pushed towards viewing Chinese with suspicion but it shows what can be done (I suppose similar to us in 2012). Apart from that horrible swimmer Sun Yang, he can go suck eggs.

Olympic organisers have issued a "deep apology" after South Korea's athletes were mistakenly introduced as North Korea at the opening ceremony in Paris.

As the excited, flag-waving team floated down the River Seine, both French and English announcers introduced them as the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" - the official name of North Korea.

It's a national embarrassment over here. We don't do this shit but apparently we did. Bloody English born manager lol

 

Sigh. 6 points is harsh for the ladies who did  no wrong but they could have been coached in a way to gain advantage. Might aswell just call it a games and send theme home. The need to win their remaining games and hope for the best unless the CAS comes back in their favour.

Just have this gut feeling that the Chinese lad will pip Peaty tomorrow in the final.

 

Its crazy how they have closed the gap so quickly given just a couple of years back he seemed to be winning at a canter

 

Just hope he medals but seems like 4 or 5 could fancy it
