Job Overview

About The Role:
LCFC have exciting opportunities to join our growing Fan Engagement Team on a casual basis. Please see below for details on the two roles available.

Casual Events Assistants:
The Club is looking for people with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence when interacting with the public, to assist with the preparation of the King Power Stadium and Training Grounds ahead of home matchdays and non-matchday events, and the execution of activities undertaken by the Club’s Events team.

Casual Fan Liaison Assistant:
The Club is looking for people with exceptional customer service skills to provide a warm welcome to all supporters who visit King Power Stadium on match days and other events, offering a professional and friendly “face of the club” and helping guests throughout their matchday experience.

The ability to anticipate potential issues and the desire to do everything possible to ensure each and every guest has their best possible experience are key, whilst maintaining a focus on high standards of safety and security in accordance with the venue’s procedures and regulations.

Some things to note:
-As a casual role, the work offered to you will be varied and flexible depending on the scheduling of matchdays and events. These offers of work cover weekends, evenings and public holidays.

lol these are the people the club will use to take all of the flak about over priced tickets, extra charges for plastic cards and extortionate pres eason game pricing.

12 quid to protect the suits sitting at seagrave:thumbup:

Piss take as usual £12 an hour. No guaranteed work but want you to work weekends and evenings. Who actually can do that?

It says its causal but I imagine if you tell them you can't commit to a game they will pack you off down the road.

Not even a free parking benefit like they normally put? lol

As much as I bash the club they've done some great things like keeping all causal staff on through covid, the charitable donations etc but they produce absolutely mindless job adverts. Put low grade job ads with low grade remuneration and low grade benefits and hey presto... low grade staff.

This is why the lazy 'we're just ran like a business, not a football club' line doesn't work, they do the business stuff badly too.

Had an Email yesterday - re subject: Have Your Say On The Men's Team Matchday Experience

Specific areas of discussion for the first 'Your 90 Minutes' of the 2024/25 season are as follows:
The in-bowl experience and match build-up
  Matchday activations
  Singing section
  Food and drink options
  Stadium facilities
  Safe standing

Who (or what) actually writes nonsense like "in-bowl experience" and "Matchday activations" ?

<edited: oops, double post, see other thread.>

@Daggers would be great at this!!

I am great at many things. I can juggle three balls, I can make a smashing spicy Spanish chorizo chicken meal, and I can swear effectively enough to start a fight in at least fourteen languages.

I am not great at talking shops where the aim is for King Power to do fvck all other than what it planned on doing in the first place. Fvck King Power up the arse.

Nah... they are just young people saying hello and pointing you to your table etc. They aren't going to be answering calls or replying to emails.... they just go in the bin.
