IMO it would be worth it. Him or O'Riley are the most like for like players to KDH. Both at good ages too.

Bring him in for 20mill,  covers a few positions where he can start or cover. Sign kasey to new contract and send him other way on loan for a season to sweeten the deal.
 

Then next year after kasey has a storming season in championship with similar numbers to Sara last season, we sell Sara for 70 mill  to chelski and bring back kasey.

 

Rinse and repeat, all problems solved. fight to mid table, bring back Brendan and so on and so on……..😂

I wouldn’t be surprised if the interest in Nelson on loan with an obligation for next season is for us to be able to fund a big signing like one of these two.

Shame it’s a crappy source because he’d be an ideal signing. 
 

Can play in a holding midfield role, can play as a 8/10, he also played off the right quite a few times last season, so would be suited to playing the role McAteer did the other night. 
 

Also we need a recognised set piece taker.
