Again objections are largely not about the player or the experience, the objection is the fee.

agree to disagree- he isnt a forward- he plays wide- his work rate is really good according to palace fans- his assists record was very good last year as well-  the negativity to it is pointless- ill give him a fair crack at showing he is worth wearing the shirt

At the moment yes, but Percy has indicated we want two more in and one of those is likely to be a striker.

Actually don't mind this as long as we do actually bring in those other 2 attackers and they're decent. Seems like a player that's experienced, tidy on the ball and works hard which is what you want in a backup player. He'll just be a stand-in for Fatawu on the right so that McAteer can go and play a full season in the Championship I'd imagine.

I don't mind him at all, but the £4m initially touted seemed the max I'd want us to pay. £6m yesterday was a slap in the chops. £8m today is plain silly and knowing us we'll have offered £10m tomorrow despite the £8m today being enough!
