NP revered by all on here, know that experience combined with youth was key to success, he brought in plenty of experienced. Comparably, at what costs, and wages, and age? There's a difference to being experienced at late 20s, compared to early/mid 30s... 2

Particularly in a scenario where we stay up and still have a lower allowance With our current business included our amortisation is around what it was at the the start of the Championship season, due to what drop off at the end last season. So we aren't doing to bad on the transfer side, not sure about wages

He's not an Albrighton who played as a more old school winger, with great delivery and work rate. Nor is he a big lump that we can pump the ball up to, in order to relieve some pressure. You cannot defend his record. It's an utter waste of a signing and squad place, one that also limits the chances for younger players. And this narrative about it being a good signing if he keeps us up. Jordan bloody Ayew is never going to keep you up. If we stay up, it certainly won't be because we pissed away £8m on him agree to disagree- he isnt a forward- he plays wide- his work rate is really good according to palace fans- his assists record was very good last year as well- the negativity to it is pointless- ill give him a fair crack at showing he is worth wearing the shirt 1

There was a great chance for the club to build upon the positivity following the second half on Monday by making an exciting signing. But, no, this regime chose to do this instead, which is the ultimate mood killer.

Stopharage Posted 22 August 2024 Posted 22 August 2024 This absolutely reeks of desperation. Can't get a number of transfers through so we settle for Ayew. Who's next? Winston Bogarde?
The_77 Posted 22 August 2024 Posted 22 August 2024 Do anything close to this against Forest and we’ll love you forever, Jord.

FoxesWalk Posted 22 August 2024 Posted 22 August 2024 (edited) Encouraging from Percy, those 2 new attackers need to be a 1st choice striker and 1st team ready creative midfielder realistically Edited 22 August 2024 by FoxesWalk 2
Popular Post Micky Posted 22 August 2024 Popular Post Posted 22 August 2024 I wish the moaning ***** would just **** off. Imagine having you lot around the club. You'd all collectively destroy anything good that we are trying to achieve. 2 1 3

foxesfan98 Posted 22 August 2024 Posted 22 August 2024 Actually don't mind this as long as we do actually bring in those other 2 attackers and they're decent. Seems like a player that's experienced, tidy on the ball and works hard which is what you want in a backup player. He'll just be a stand-in for Fatawu on the right so that McAteer can go and play a full season in the Championship I'd imagine. 1
sdb Posted 22 August 2024 Posted 22 August 2024 I don't mind him at all, but the £4m initially touted seemed the max I'd want us to pay. £6m yesterday was a slap in the chops. £8m today is plain silly and knowing us we'll have offered £10m tomorrow despite the £8m today being enough!
roblcfc84 Posted 22 August 2024 Posted 22 August 2024 Clearly seen as an option that can help us see out games, and hold the ball up when we are under pressure. We’ll need different types of players this year. He’s an option and it’s impossible to judge this transfer until the window closes. If he’s all we get in…fair enough
Sankey93 Posted 22 August 2024 Posted 22 August 2024 5 million bloody hell what ya expect in todays market 😂 1
