5waller5 Posted 24 September 2024 Posted 24 September 2024 Both the football and the level of “get rid” seem to be already way past the levels at peak Rodgers OUT. Surely even our incompetent BOD can’t be deaf to this?? 2

Walsall weren't even playing their first choice XI. Get rid.....now! The incompetent hierarchy won't though. We are rotten to the core. Our premier league squad, not much different from league 2. Players are not playing with passion, looked pissed off, he has obviously already lost the dressing room
Mendi Posted 24 September 2024 Posted 24 September 2024 He sadly will not go, until its urgent matter.

Popular Post FoxOfMelton Posted 24 September 2024 Popular Post Posted 24 September 2024 It's clear the players don't want to play for him. And who can blame them? They've gone from a tactically meticulous manager in Enzo with a very distinct style of play, to, well, a manager seemingly devoid of any tactics. Cooper was praised as being a good man manager if nothing else when we signed him, and even that doesn't even seem to be even slightly true. He's so far out of his depth that he makes Dean Smith look like an astute signing. He has to go while the season can still be salvaged. I've no doubt, however, that the board will leave it until it's far too late, as is tradition. 12
GingerrrFox Posted 24 September 2024 Posted 24 September 2024 Can I just say that tonight should be the turning point for the club really. As soon as you have your team putting in performances like tonight, with players making so many basic errors and having no coherent structure, it’s time to think of a succession plan. As much as the likes of Soumare come in for criticism the lad still won a Ligue 1 title so he’s no mug. Cooper has to go, this was a doomed appointment from the start really. The team was lost tonight.
Guest Posted 24 September 2024 Posted 24 September 2024 Just needs more time though doesn't he? After all, the longer he spends with these players the more impressive we look. Ideally he gets at least another window so we can bring in some more experienced, Premier League proven bargains. You've got to give him time because time is the magic ingredient that unfailingly turns shit managers into good ones. You can't sack him now, give him time! 2

I agree with your post pretty much, I want Cooper gone – but not because of an inability to get a tune out of Soumare, who for me rubs shoulders with Adrien Silva in terms of worst ever value-for-money buys the club has ever made. He is a mug. He is exactly that. Awful, awful footballer. Edited 24 September 2024 by Miquel The Work Geordie 2

No? If he's been asked to serve up substandard clueless shite football that will relegate us, then yes he's doing what's been asked
Larry_LCFC Posted 24 September 2024 Posted 24 September 2024 Problem is most other fanbases would make it really, really uncomfortable for the board not to sack a shite manager. We seem to have nothing but a happy clappy fanbase, particularly at the KP, who are seemingly blind to the ineptitude. 3
Corky Posted 24 September 2024 Posted 24 September 2024 In any poor run you look for signs of progress and improvement. There aren't any. Cannot see where a win is coming from.

foxile5 Posted 24 September 2024 Posted 24 September 2024 The answer to this particular riddle, if there is one, lies in the fact that there are no green shoots of hope. Nobody is coming out of today with any credit and none of the tactics look to be 'landing'. By any measure that was piss poor and I don't see a way forward.

A huge defeat Saturday at Arsenal is coming and the start of him going I think. Few more poor results after that against teams around us and it will already be too late, can see us getting cut adrift before they take action. It’s the Top and Rudkin way.

I’m not not turning on him, I didn’t want him here to begin with. I don’t think he’s good enough and will guide us back to the championship. And what I’ve seen in the first half a dozen or so games has reinforced that opinion. why feel guilty? we’ll all still be here when Cooper is long gone. It’s not wrong to want what’s best for our club, and it ain’t him!! 15 6
