Popular Post daddylonglegs Posted 18 November 2024 Popular Post Posted 18 November 2024 The end of the year is definitely too late. The next 10 fixtures are so tough on paper, but there's a solid bank of 3 or 4 in a row in the middle where we should be aiming to pick up points. The issue with Cooper's way of playing is he'll approach all 10 games with the same attitude - don't get hammered and try and nick something. That is not going to be enough to keep us in the division. 5
Claudio Fannieri Posted 18 November 2024 Posted 18 November 2024 Whilst it’s frustrating that nothing has happened during this international break, what is clear with the bits and pieces within the media that his position is under scrutiny and he is definitely under pressure, whether that is down to results, the performances, his approach, his working relationship with the playing squad, fanbase reaction or a mix of all of the above, clearly there are people who are not convinced by him. These little snippets fed by Nixon and others will just be the tip of the iceberg as to what’s going on. Truth is a couple more poor results and I am certain he won’t get the opportunity to the end of the year. We aren’t party to the discussion, whilst it’s reported he has to the end of the year, that could be too show a marked improvement, however many more poor results and performances and the plug will probably be pulled before then. The noise is getting louder and therefore I think it will only heighten as each game goes by.

AKCJ Posted 18 November 2024 Posted 18 November 2024 The only way we even score a consolation goal is if Maresca overthinks things. Doesn't have to do much to outwit Cooper. Enzo's only slight danger is that he overestimates him. Personally hoping for a good 6 or 7 nil so we can get rid of Cooper.

His entire approach is built around trying to get people to subscribe to his patreon account. To do that, he needs to publish a regular amount of gossip on a wide range of teams. Inevitably, most of the gossip he posts is speculative at best, and downright fiction at worst. With regards to Cooper, there are perhaps 3-4 people who know what the club's current thoughts are on how long he's got, and none of those people speak to the media. And even if they did, Alan Nixon would come way down the list of people they'd be willing to speak to. Edited 18 November 2024 by ClaphamFox 2

Riot Van Posted 18 November 2024 Posted 18 November 2024 Genuinely a disgusting decision. If there was even a remote chance we could have a forest end come here and chant his name for a full half of football should have been enough to not make the appointment. These ****ing idiots have no foresight. 1
Dan Posted 18 November 2024 Posted 18 November 2024 Doesn't even make me angry anymore. I think I used all my anger in 2022/23 when the penny dropped. I've had my expectations completely blown to bits to a point it can't hurt me. 1

Cooper can go tomorrow and they’ll spend weeks working out who to replace him with. Jumping for target to target. 2
winteriscoming Posted 18 November 2024 Posted 18 November 2024 What makes it worse is when Cooper eventually does go we will spend too long on getting Potter and end up with someone worse when he rejects us. Lampard springs to mind because he ticks the boxes of having pl experience.

Wymsey Posted 18 November 2024 Posted 18 November 2024 If supporters are that disgruntled, why not chant or take a banner saying "Cooper Out!" with them?.. 2

FoxinNotts Posted 18 November 2024 Posted 18 November 2024 Can’t actually believe people think he’s going to be sacked any time soon - we’re currently not bottom three - we’re on for ‘a point a game’ - the only game we maybe ‘should’ of got a result and didn’t was Forest I don’t want him, but as long as it stays like this, and there’s a chance he achieves the season goal of staying up, he won’t go
