Not today thank you

The question was posed to Deb. I wouldn’t like to assume what her response would be, I just don’t think you should go making an arse of yourself until we’ve got to the bottom of her deliberations.

So Rachel, you weren't actually an 'Economist' then? Right oh, glad that's cleared up. So what are your qualifications for the post you currently hold?

She's probably the most economically qualified Chancellor we've had in a long time, in that she actually has an economics qualification (Masters from LSE). Last one before her was Sajid Javid who was Chancellor for about five minutes. Before that you have to go back to Norman Lamont to find one with an economics degree.

But did those other's need to change their CV from Economist at the Bank of Scotland to 'Retail Banking'? Breach of the Ministerial Code? Or worse.

It doesn't breach the Ministerial Code because it has nothing to do with her conduct as a Minister. It's a fuss about nothing.

Just saw they’re calling Starmer farmer harmer and made me think has a PM had better slander names than Keir so far?

Thatcher the Milk Snatcher was a decent one, with the bonus of actually being 100% accurate.

The next few months will sure be a rocky road with Russia-Ukraine really intensifying again. Does feel like the most insecure/the most genuine chance of WW3 since probably the Cuban missile crisis right now.

Reckon Biden shouldn't have approved what he did a couple of days ago..

I mean Russia shouldn't be in ukraine so is what it is (especially with North Korean troops there now).

Russia can't beat Ukraine with a half arse nato help. They won't be nuking anyone unless they want the same done to them.

It likely is posturing though.

Still waiting for a good explanation as to why people like Clarkson and Dyson should be able to buy up loads of land specifically for the purposes of avoiding tax.

500 farms affected out of 209,000 - absolutely embarrassing hysteria and so telling as to how much the wealthiest in this country shape the conversation on current affairs.

Think the real figure is around 20k farms affected

Prelude to Vlad's next move?

I really hope not, although Russia tried to attack Finland before and failed.

They shouldn’t.  They are not those protesting though.

And most of them not the corporate owned mega farms but family farms owned by sole traders.

Feel a bit sorry for the bloke that had to write this, imagine how it feels inside?

Also, presumably there come a point where the target readership cottons on that they're basically having the piss taken out of them and the terrible, dawning realisation triggers a lot of them to just walk into the sea

Ideal figureheads for the campaign as far as I'm concerned. The former freely admitting in public to buying agricultural land to avoid IHT and famous farmer James Dyson apparently owning 35,000 acres of it, for some reason
