Surely he goes after tonight?

What's changed from last season, surely not just selling Kilman?

Yes he was already done before tonight regardless. We've stopped being able to defend and now look mentally fragile.

Will O'Neil get the sack if you lose this?

Yes. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe they wait until someone else agrees to the job.

I would say Conceicao due to the Portuguese connections, but it's a very high risk job in the circumstances when he could wait a few weeks and get someone like Tottenham.

It's between him and Corberan I reckon.

A decent squad of players who can score goals but need some organising at the back. And over half a season to turn things around. Any half decent manager would fancy a crack at that sort of proposition.

The big question mark is if they're going to get any money to spend. That is the big sticking point for anyone joining.

Steve Cooper would fancy a crack and is available. But he won't fix your defence and, to be honest, isn't half decent.

Superb officiating from one of our own

They said the first penalty incident was outside the box but have to see that again.

And should have  still got a draw at least.

If they are found guilty, which I'm sure they will already know, then Pep is an even bigger bell end than he always has been. Came out at the start of all this and said if they have done wrong, I'll leave the next day. Now signs a new contract and says he'll stay even if they get relegated. I'd have had more respect for him if he'd kept to his guns and walked away.

Not sure I'd ever have much faith in Peps integrity given his playing career.

Surely you can't have Corberan from West Borm.

Do we think the Man City downturn in form is similar to when it clearly leaked out within the club last season that Leicester were due a massive points deduction when promoted? Leicester had a very similar downturn in form in around when that news broke, with a demoralised looking squad, so maybe Man City have been tipped off they are in for the mother of all points deductions / or relegation?

would be great if so, as Leicester certainly wont finish beneath Saints and Ipswich...

I liked this, then thought about it for a minute... Pep would not have signed on for another year knowing this.. as much as I want Man C to get hammered, I can't see it happening

I did. We've scored as many goals as the European teams tbf.

But that was before I witnessed us defending with all the strength and organisation of a bunch of toddlers right before nap time.

Never mind, this guy at the match will sort your defence out.

yeah that happened to Forest too - we’d just beaten Man Utd and Newcastle, then the news came in we were being charged and we hardly won another match.

I can’t believe City will get the same treatment as us hillbillies from the East Midlands though.  They’ll get a bit of criticism of their admin from 10 years ago, with a recognition that things have improved since then.  At a push, maybe a small fine and suspended points deduction.

As they’re, by their standards, struggling, they’ll probably manage to get their minuscule punishment pushed through this season, when it’s less likely to damage a serious title push.

Corberan. Really? Not only WBA manager but also struggling to find a win with them.

I would imagine it'd be the first time a manager has moved directly between Wolves and WBA?

Corberan will make himself truly hated by WBA fans, but I get why he'd take it. Wolves is the best job he's likely to get at this point. Southampton is the other premier league job that will become available, and saving them would be a huge task. I saw enough from Wolves last night to tell me they can get out of this.

Interesting take.  Personally I thought both teams were poor last night.  West Ham would be in major trouble for all the money spent if it wasn't for Bowen.  As for Wolves hoofball sprung to mind.  Albeit one of the penalty shouts should have been given.  1st one.

Against an equally shit team.

I'm not convinced any of the current bottom three survive without a Man City shaped miracle.

Only reason I feel currently calm about our season.

Wolves have Ipswich at home and then us in their next two games. If they fail to win either of those games, then I'll probably come around to your way of thinking.

They've conceded 38 goals in 15 games. That's not an easy fix

Don’t think Wolves have a cats chance in hell of getting Sergio Conceicao despite the obvious Portuguese links.

He’ll be waiting for AC Milan.

Can see Wolves going for Hjulmand or Knutsen.
