At what point will Villa be royally fvcked? 

 

Failure to qualify for CL next year? No Europe at all? 

 

I can't imagine Rashford's wages are cheap either. Also can't imagine him doing that well whilst there for a few months.

It's a very odd signing given the finances involved and the fact he's been bombed out of Man U for his attitude and for being poor in training. Why do Villa all of a sudden think he'll rock up there and start giving 100% and actually attempt to be a pro footballer. I'm all for teams having ambition and trying to upset the big 6 but Villa have taken the piss with the money they've spent and continue to spend. I suppose the £65m for Duran will help but that wage bill isn't sustainable

I think the average 'points required' for Champion League qualification in the past is 70.  ATM Forest have 47.  That means they need 23 more form 14 games ( possible 42 ). It is not a big ask really when you look at the fixtures. In fact their home game against us could achieve that 23rd point. :-(

I think the average Villa fan is happy for their club to operate like this after years of mediocrity.

With 5th place in the league highly likely to qualify for the champions league this season too, it makes it more likely again.

They are still in champions league at present, so probably can afford it. Also not forgetting the huge sale of Duran... 76million was it? Good player but aint seen much of him to say hes worth anymore than 40million. Hes been mainly like super sub for villa.
