Mrs Wager…. She was generally pretty popular with the kids as far as I know!!!

She was an English teacher with a focus on special needs (so, you may not have been taught by her?!)

LEICESTER - 30 AUGUST 2024

A popular Leicester City fansite was the subject of controversy yesterday when it emerged that several of its members were victimised in a phishing scheme that took place earlier this month.

Using popular "social engineering" tactics, one or multiple users (the exact number is unknown at this time) of the website FoxesTalk were able to gain the answer to security questions used by other users on other important websites and then to gain control of them, including access to email accounts, online shopping services, and in one case, releasing the details of their online pornographic activities.

Finished A levels in 2007 with a bang average B and 2 x D. Decided at that point to get my act together.

A levels at the time felt like the be all and end all, in reality it isn’t!

Yes I remember her. When you say special needs I think you mean the really really naughty kids. There was a long list of those in my year. She earned her wages that’s for sure. She used to bollock us for playing football with crushed cans in the small out of bounds play ground at the front of the school. That parts the medical centre now.Two of the other English teachers at the time Mrs Blunt and Miss Durkin had the rooms that flanked Sowing teacher Mrs Lucas. Her room was officially haunted.Fact.

Yeah…. She has a special way with the scrotes…. Taught many of them to read!  I think she found the mainstream kids a bit dull…. Wilfred Woolbrook at Judgemeadow used nick her chocolate digestives!  She did a session on crime and punishment with her kids, my mum said “I learned a lot” !!!

Every school has ghosts!!!

Anyway, she’s still going strong (80 next year). Very happily living in France
