Worse than that

Soumare is deceased

Are you implying that we witness a Santeria ritual when he briefly comes back to life on the pitch, before going dead again? Makes perfect sense.

I'd have to disagree, I have watched him and he is getting better the more he settles into the team.

He's exactly the type of player we need more off, Big and Strong who can actually play. We just need him to develop a rough side as well as offering more committment in games.

I think Ruud is working with him trying to get him taking more responsibility on the Ball.

Sorry but he has been with us for 4 seasons now, the occasional lung busting run forward with the ball, followed up by meandering back at a snails pace to try and cover the man he lost because he has zero awareness of what is going on around him. He is the midfield equivalent of Faes, is capable of moments of brilliance but in reality makes far more costly errors than he does offer positive involvements and as for attitude and commitment, they have both checked out.

A player that has absolutely no awareness whatsoever of what is going on around him doesn’t have all the attributes to be a top player..

watch him for 90 mins and you will very quickly change your mind on him.

offers nothing, doesn’t get near a man or track back until it is too late..

doesn't offer assists, creativity or goals ..

Whilst this is a description of Soumare, you could read that exact description for Skipp. He’s Soumare but without the clever turns and dynamic breaks that Bouba does provide despite being a fundamentally flawed midfielder in the Premier League. Skipp is also flawed but worse. He is a meat and potatoes midfielder seen throughout league 1 and below.

And we’ve got him for another 4.5 years.

Soumare and winks are the more forward thinking midfielders

Most depressing thing I have ever read

Why have you included Cannon who can't get a game in the Championship?

He will never be a top player, his 26, what do you think going to change?

He's doesn't score goals or assists and can't defend.

He's inconsistent, which makes he a nightmare to play with.

In a match he can go from the sublime to the stupidity in the space of seconds.

What's he actually good at?

I cant disagree with anything you say, It's just the flashes of brilliance makes me think his problem is nothing to do with ability and more to do with his lack of game knowledge and confidence within the Team.

He does come across as lazy at times and then he suddenly wakes up. If Ruud can keep him improving he might just make the grade.

What he showed on Sunday was he's good at is carrying the Ball forward and just glide past players something we're clearly lacking. What he hasn't quite learned yet is when to pass and move into space to help others. He does seem to be growing in confidence with game time so we'll see how it pans out in the Summer.

Nonsense signing, what on earth did they see in him, Spurs got Maddison on the cheap and then pretty much get the fee back by offloading Winks and Skipp.

Winks starting to look like a poor man’s Matt Oakley, Skipp in training must be a horrible sight.

I would agree if he wasn't 26 with 250 apps in the top league in England, Spain and France under his belt.

Ruud hasn't improved anyone in his tenure so can't see him improving.

In the summer he moves into the last year of his contract we have 3 choices, sell for what we can get, lose him for free, or give him a contract.

I think we have to sell, not worth the risk of giving him a new contract.

The club needs to take Cooper and Rudkin to court for financial irregularity. There's no other way to explain the club splashing out £25m on a guy that would barely cost £2m if he was already playing in the championship. Which he will be.

If that team played our regular starting XI, both teams would somehow find a way to lose.

For anyone asking why we dont give Skipp a run in the side, the last 2 games he started were a 2/10 horror show performance against Newcastle and the game against Wolves where he got hooked at half time.

Skipp is Spurs's version of Mcateer, youth team player promoted into a level of football where he is way out of his depth. Really he should be building up his career with regular game time on loan in the championship but he stagnated on the bench for Spurs and somehow we made him our £25mil marquee signing to stay in the prem. Absolute clownshow of a club.

If he was 18 you might say he had a bit about him but'a he's 24.

Agreed. For his wages, there will be players of a similar quality (perhaps younger and higher potential or better) that we would prefer. 20-25 million for this player is obscene.

Obscene is the right word.

I still think Danny Ward is the club's worst signing ever. For his initial fee + being directly responsible for preventing saveable goals in the '22 relegation, he's easily cost the club £120m + in lost earnings. Depending on how Skipp performs in the championship I think we might have a number 2 in the 'Leicester's most irresponsible signings' of all time league table.
