I get we all love JJ but Skipp really deserved his name singing today at a few points. Even just an 'Ollie, Ollie Skipp' would go a long way to show some appreciation when he puts in a shift like that.

Best game he's had, was in Winks shadow before now we have dropped that stupid 3 cms looked class, was dropping into defence as well when defenders pushed out put in a real shift and some good passes forward, lets hope it continues.

He probably benefit from the confidence boost of knowing he is a starter and winks is bombed out.

 

He is clearly a trier, but he always seems to lack confidence. Need to stick with this midfield for a while now.

I know we have all slated him, but fair play on the bloke. He was excellent today and deserves the praise. He's got the right attitude and it shows compared to Winks. 

 

I smiled more when he scored. Hes gain confidence, maybe that is all he needed.

Tbh they are too similar playing styles so can’t play together well. Skipp and James should be our midfield base we look to build around for the time being.
