Happy for him and long may it continue but let’s be really clear - he has been absolutely garbage here - a game and a half doesn’t change that unless it becomes 10 games and then 20

True. But he seems like a confidence player who will perform better when he feels appreciated so we have much more of a chance of it becoming 10/20 etc now the fans are showing him some love and appreciation!

I'm starting to warm to him. He has a good attitude and we need to stack the team with as much of that as we can.

Looked decent when we first signed him, very good at Palace away before he was (probably unfairly) dropped and he hadn't recovered since, looking like a competition winner at times.

Fitness and confidence are clearly big factors with him but there should be a dependable player in there at this level. Just need to look past the ridiculous price tag, which is on Rudkin and not him.

We must remember Conte rated him, just for that we need to give him time to settle in and show us his best.

Hopefully he will get back to his Norwich days.

Has been at the club for 16 months now, though?

True, but let's be honest it's been very inconsistent 16 months at our club, not the best time to arrive and try to hit the ground running.

Also he was at Tottenham since the age of 6, sometimes settling in at a new club and city can take time.

No excuse now though, it's been 16 months, time for him to prove his worth to us.

Inspiring for balding men I suppose, great optics

It didn’t do Rooster Russell any harm. Leicester legend out on the left wing 👍

No wonder so many men get depressed. Lad plays with as much passion as any fan would, looks absolutely delighted he's smashed it and you have weirdos going on about his hair.

Alright, keep your hair on.

Seems such a nervous guy and obviously a confidence player, im happy for him and really want to see him succeed now the poisonous winks is out the picture.

Ah, bless him, he does seem super shy. You can imagine he gets eaten alive in the changing room. He has ability, really hope he goes from strength to strength here.

I mean it’s about time he established himself here. It didn’t help with the price tag we paid for him because we all expected him to hit the ground running but at the time of his signature, we didn’t really need another centre midfielder. But yeh I’m happy he’s cracking on and I hope it continues.

I'm liking what I see, I must admit.

He seemed to play better when JV isn’t dictating the tempo, inviting the press and creating chaos. Get rid of JV or his need for control and those around him have better games.

he does indeed. his body language is that of quite a timid individual. Perhaps, and I am only speculating here, Winks has been 'top dog', and with him seemingly out of the picture, this might allow Skipp to flourish. If he works hard the crowd will warm to him, which in turn will give him the confidence to blossom. Let's hope so

Spurs fans I know always rated him very highly and it’s not his fault we spunked £25 mil on him.

I think there’s a really solid player there who’s finally getting a consistent run of games.

Delighted for him. He seems a good bloke and a proper grafter and hopefully he can kick on now.

I think we just need to get over the price we paid for him and back the lad. His passion and desire cannot be questioned and that is absolutely what we need from our players right now rather than the lazy toss bags like Faes and Winks.

Him and James is the way forward for our midfield 2.

Eaten alive in the changing room by who? We've largely got a squad full of wallflowers
