There will be rumours surrounding him of course.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he stays or goes either way, if I’m honest. He’d be the best player in the championship if he stays.

I think you’ll find that will be a Leeds player ………..

Pre injury, yep. We have no idea how he’s going to be coming back from this so at the minute it’s Billal.

Why?   I don't think he has shown enough for anyone to offer more than we paid for him.

I don't think there will be a queue for any of our deadbeats.

Well I know of two Premier League clubs that have made contact already

Didn't he force his way out of Genk for us?

Pretty sure he'll be off without a second thought if there's a team interested that's doing better than us.

And he'll be off again once a team bigger than them sniffs.

Many qualities, but loyalty won't be one of them.

Fatawu - Bilal - Mavididi  in the Championship

Fatawu (depends on how he recovers)

Bilal wont be here

Mavididi plays well when he can be arsed (around 30% of any given season)

----------

Jordan Ayew - Decordova Reid - Ashley young

And people will be very upset about it too.

That’s correct. He won’t think twice about forcing a move, but it won’t come to that. We will need the cash

I would be amazed if he stays. Numbers weren't great last season but then they're not likely to be, are they? He looks up and sees the dynamic attacking force of Jordan Ayew, Kasey McAteer and an old man, turns around for a bit of assistance and he's got a rotating cast of the world's least creative midfielders plodding about behind him. You could replace him with prime Ozil or KDB but if the rest of the team physically can't move the ball up the pitch without giving it away, they're probably not going to be topping the assists table either.

In the Southampton and Ipswich games nobody could get near him which probably tells you something about how he'd fare coming up against even worse opposition every week. I think he's got no business at all playing in the Championship and I suspect he agrees.

In the same team he got the same G+A as Ndidi, Ayew, and Mavididi. He did slightly better on xG + xA, until you put it on a per 90 basis where again he doesn't stand out.

He might not have been expected to deliver lots for a team who struggled as much as we did, but he only ended up delivering as much as players much less revered.

Honestly, this might be controversial but he really isn't that good. He's a 20m player, so very decent but he's not too class he's not good enough to start regularly for most of the Premier teams I'd say. He's a poor man's Maddison, all fart and no shit.

Don’t agree with that at all, he’s looked stand out this season and is doing well internationally as well.

However, he is still young and for us to make a decent profit we’d need £35m + to make the original fee worthwhile. He isn’t there yet and someone would have to take a huge risk on what he could be in the next couple of years.

I’m optimistic that he’ll be here next season.

Yes so you do agree, you say he isn't there and you'd be buying potential. I acknowledge it's quite hard to look too good in a team as bad as ours but still don't think he did that much. Lots of shots miles over the bar, lots of passes went astray, as I say all effort with not much end product. In a better team and with time, he may reach a higher level, but for me a number 10 in the prem needs more output in goals and assists. There's no way on earth we get £35m for him, if anything we get around what we paid from someone lower mid table like Wolves.

Why would we sell him for around what we paid for him?

Because we will have no choice because of the utter mess we are in. We've got numerous cvnts on over 70k a week like Soumare, Faes, Vestergaard, Daka, Choudury, Winks, Coady that we will struggle to sell for any sort of fee, so the only 3 who we can sell for any cash will be Bilal, Mads and Fatawu. We will get nowhere near what they are worth.
