Book value this summer would be around €17m

 

So €9m / £7.5m profit

Probably unpopular opinion but hey ho - I think he has been absolutely useless- easily as bad as plenty of them and 1 half decent game against the worst prem side ever isn’t going to change my opinion  - seems like him and mads probably only sellable assets - can’t see anyone paying that for him but if they did we would sell without a doubt 

 

2 goals and 3 assist all season is absolutely cr*p

If that's true then his sale will not be much use for funding any potential PSR shortfall or generate serious funds for promotion.

 

I'd pitch a realistic ask of £30-35m so not massively more but with a sell on or add ons. £23m is utter muck though.

 

No wonder the likes of Evans, Nelson etc are being linked away too....

For me, its not so much about how good he is currently,  but more so his potential. 

 

Very similar with Fatawu. They both show some inexperience, and both can be as frustrating to watch as they can be exciting, but both have potential to be great PL players, more so BEK though, there's something special there.

Given that there is no chance whatsoever that this journalist has been told Bilal’s ‘release clause’ by anybody who would know. I’d say you’re probably right.

I can hear the first part and yep there could be a player at some point there but this year on that showing he has been honking - to many with one game memories on here - probably same ones who think ruud staying wouldn’t be the worst idea 

 

all iv seen week in week out is the odd bit of skill for 10% of the time and a bang average prem player out of his depth giving the ball away time after time after time for 90% of the time 
 

I actually don’t dislike the lad but he has done absolutely nothing to show he could cut it week in week out at that level - I hope im proved wrong as he definitely puts a shift in which is minimum for me but plenty don’t so I’ll give him that but big player or star of our season he definitely hasn’t been

Ridiculously low and I'd be shocked if he wasn't playing PL football next season (or a top-5 European league).

 

Poor planning on our part to not push for higher, because that could prove to be a bargain for a mid-table team in the PL.

 

He's one of very few players I'd have love to have kept around but that hope of keeping him here dwindles when you hear how low this clause is.
