It was never sensible. You only had to look at his committment for Palce.

 

He was only in it or the money. That's what happens when you hav ameaturs picking players.

He was awful but can’t see in hindsight why we refused to give him more than around 40 minutes in total in the league, just a terrific waste of money, him+coulibaly would’ve been enough to keep Akgun and we would have a capable backup plan for BEK leaving

Crystal Palace have just had their best ever season.  No, not the FA Cup, but getting Leicester City to pay actual money for Odsonne Edouard and Jordan Ayew.
