Perez wasn’t useless, he was constantly played out of position by Rodgers. He’d walk into our team now.

Admittedly he was out of position on the right wing but even as a ten he was bloody useless. Lightweight, forever losing the ball or giving it to the opposition. Absolutely useless. Even in our position now I'd sooner have El Khannouss or Buonanotte!

Don’t know if true, but if it is, has to be the worst transfer of all time….

Doubt it’s true, add in Roy is sharing it.

just look at his Twitter you’d think it’s a 15 year old Tweeting.

He was largely shit for us and that's all that matters

That doesn't make him a shit player

Probably isn’t far off.

There will be a loan fee on top of his wages

Terrible business by us. Well and truly mugged off again! It’s the same people time and again that sign off on these failures. Musa, Ward, Bennett, Ghezzal, Slimani, the Silva debacle. I’m sure someone could add up or has added up in the past the failed business in terms of fees paid and salaries torched. It’s gross incompetence of the highest order and not carrying out any due diligence is embarrassing.

Someone only needed to read his Wikipedia page to see that Toulouse terminated his loan early in 2017 for shooting a passer by with an air pistol when driving about in his mates car for alarm bells to ring!
He looks complely disinterested at best!

I think that would make me want to sign them more if I'm being honest

He starting ahead of Bilal and Facu then?

Or a fit Fatawu?

Basically went in desperate didn't we? I mean we had Vardy with sketchy fitness (missed most of pre season), Daka out and Cannon loaned out (questionable wisdom now as surely he couldn't have done worse than Edouard), but we were a Vardy injury away from Mavididi or Ayew as our striker. We needed a striker, but should have had one signed long before messing around on the final day of the window, and it's another disasterclass that we didn't insert a break clause, in the end you just get fatigued by the shambles that is LCFC.

Agreed and certainly about Perez who was bloody useless and costly. The best thing that can be said of him is that there have been even worse signings! 🤣

Aah the good old days when all we had to moan about was the weak link that was Ayoze Perez.  He frustrated hell out of me for on the one hand being so ineffectual but also because he was the one remaining piece of the jigsaw for that team and we got it badly wrong.  Thanks Brendan.

Imagine where we might be now if we had got that signing right and qualified for Champions League.  So, in short, our current predicament and everything in between is still Ayoze Perez' fault.

So Palace have had over £16m out of us for an ageing Jordan Ayew and Edouard bloomin' Scissorfeet.  :nono:

Maybe they are the charity that our £25 card tax went to

This has "send me back boss" 'sorry Palace don't want ya' "Alright, play me coach" 'okay I will!!'

Daka-Feb 2024 era resurgence for a few games.

Have Ward take him out in training, claim on the insurance, free a squad space, send him back to palace in a matchbox.

And then sack Ward for gross misconduct! 🤣

Would like to think he could still play some matches yet. He wasn't a complete dud at Palace. Very bizarre he doesn't get on the bench still. Definitely worth chucking on for last 20 to support striker.
