Left Forest and is in talks with the club to join the backroom staff.

I suggested that we sign Reid when I heard Cooper was coming. This is brilliant if we make it happen.

Not only is he a Physcologist now but he'e also an ex pro player. So he'll be great for the Club as a whole but especially the younger players for their well being.

Shouldn't be letting Cooper bring in anyone else, staff or players IMO

Agreed

If he gets no win between now and the next international break I can't see how he stays on

The missing piece of the jigsaw?

The keystone that will hold up our season?

A veritable lynchpin?

He can have Coopers job.

I'd guarantee he could also do it much better than Cooper though I doubt that's why we're bringing him in.

He's a very intelligent individual and a very eloquent speaker.

While I understand the sentiment this would be a good signing if he comes. Something along the lines of what NP would do.

I don't know much about him but if he wants to work for Cooper after leaving Forest I question his judgement.

I'm surprised he isn't looking to move upwards to a more progressive coach unless he thinks the manager position will be available soon.

Got a good reputation. I wouldn't read (excuse the pun) anything in to him coming here meaning Cooper is bullet proof. But it's no surprise the club are trying to aid this current regime in being a success, however concerned our fanbase is right now.

What would be interesting is if this is a Cooper led or club led appointment, but with Coopers blessing.

I know he has worked with Cooper previously at Forest but the very fact he wasn’t bulleted when Cooper was sacked suggests he isn’t necessarily a Cooper disciple and Forest felt he had something to offer to retain his services for continuity.

He has also worked at West Ham under Moyes if I recall correctly so could well be appointed with a view of remaining even in the event Cooper is sacked. I would imagine if Cooper did go, Andy Hughes and Reid could be retained.
