I can understand nerves - being a newly promoted side, every game could potentially be a disaster but so many acting like Saints have their shit together ? Why? them and Ipswich have been either very poor or naive. Both, alongside Wolves have been far worse than us. Cooper has no excuse here.

think its more the fact of(for me anyway), we won both last season, they won both the season before when we was both in the prem before.....seems to be one of them odd things

why i think we'll get beat

Should have more than enough, by Googling their squad, to beat them really.

At the very least, prolong their no-win season.

Can't really believe Wolves are bottom, because of the hype over Gary O'Neil last season.

Fatawu over Ayew, keep the rest the same.

Southampton struggled a lot when Bournemouth were direct and went at them with speed - we need to do the same with Fatawu, Facu and Mavididi.

Given Southamtons style of play, I'm expecting Winks for Ayew with Ndidi pushing into the 10 spot and Bounanotte on the RW. Put pressure on their defence and try to win it back higher up the pitch. Although now I've said it there's no way I can see Ayew dropped for this so Winks for Buonanotte unfortunately.

Southampton always win sadly

Apart from the last 4 times we've played them.

2 times isn’t it?

Beat them twice last season but lost both times against them in the relegation season

Sorry, you're correct. I misread a post higher up.

The point stands though, they don't always win.

No sign of Russell Martin being sacked and their fans seem to think he'll be given until our game at least. We won't get many better opportunities for an away win this season...

Agreed, it’s a huge opportunity.

Vital we come away from the game with minimum a point.

Don’t give Cooper ideas, the lads won’t show up because they will all be searching Southampton players on google.

We should have beat them in our relegated season, especailly at their place.

Souttar missed a point blank free header and Iheanacho should have scored a hat trick.

This is all I will ever remember that Southampton game for lol

Rubbish. Watch and analyse the game properly and stop writing headlines like that which you know makes fans pile on with negativity. Play like that and we’ll be absolutely fine. Created numerous brilliant chances and win comfortably on another day.
