not against wilf playing this one at all. Perfect player to scupper the way they play and capitalize on overplaying at the back.

The thought that Ayew plays gives me shivers, this isnt the team you want to slow the play down against, you want to counter hard and fast so it’s made for mavi and fatawu

73 minutes between them is my prediction.

BDR and Ajew to keep it tight from the start, Cooper with armbands and a helmet on sat in the dugout. Actually thinking about it @Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo could you do a Cooer emoji along these lines?

I'd go

                 Hermansen

Ricardo. Vestergaard Feas VK

                Skip.     Winks

 Fatawu.       Buonanotte.   Mavididi

                           Vardy

Press and pace ruins these, they’re too stubborn to change either so if we do that we can easily race into a 2-0 lead we should have zero respect for these just go for blood straight away

Press and pace is something that Cooper actively sets out to avoid, he’s too stubborn to change as well.

Complete stink out.

The main tactic will be Ayew falling over on the half way line instead of moving forward or passing.  Mads will punt the ball into the box for Soton to clear every time. Their left winger will have all day to cross the ball as JJ is playing in the middle.

The days of hoping the manager plays the strongest line up in their strongest positions is a thing of the past.

P7, W0, D1, L6.

We are in serious trouble if we lose to these, they are crap, crapper than us for a basic term. We need a hard brexit press and flood the box and they will fold like a cheap suit.

That ain’t going to happen though is it?

Coops will approach this like any other game I feel, Ayew will still be fumbling around on the wing, and we will be hoping Mavididi or Buonanotte (if he plays) can muster something up.

Its just one of those moment where you know full well the ever obliging Leicester will pop up from its slumber to come give us a good dosage of let down…….

We wont have put our pants on by the time they're 3-0 up.

#supercoops

They have scored 4 goals this season so far & conceded 15 so I would be surprised if they put 3 past us. This is an extremely winnable game for us & I expect us to win & Martin to be fired after the game.

Right after we win and keep a clean sheet we change two of our defense and one of our central midfielders?

Southampton are crap by PL standards but we have a crap coach by PL standards. We could be their first win of the season.

Corrected that for you.

I don’t think Skipp and Winks can play together, also Ndidi? You can’t leave out the player who is number one for tackles in the league and number 2 for assists this season.

We all know it will be JJ in for Ricardo, but add Ndidi in for Winks and I think that’s the team I’d go for.

Yeah.... I can't see Cooper messing with the defence after a win & a clean sheet & in all honesty I'm fine with that

I would like to see one of our more attacking players come in to the team & then I will be happy.

We did press well vs Palace in the 1st half. That's what we need to do relentlessly on Saturday. The team really ought to pick itself based on how much we exposed them last season using direct and counter attacking football.

Mavididi Ndidi Fatawu got 6 goals between them and a few assists.

I just think the ever obliging Leicester City will give Southampton their first win of the season.

But to stay a float from the bottom we have to win these types of games.

So you think we will lose but make the revelation that we need to win.      Amazing stuff !!!

FFS what is wrong with people!

Lots of dummy spitting cos the man they want to fail won't pick their favourite eleven players - the Carsley plan!

Ignoring inconvenience facts such as we are not in the relegation zone and that we alone of the 3 promoted clubs have a win.

Get a grip, gripers.

This is just it for me, our fans are probably the worst in the country, how about they shut up moaning and get behind their team, I mean really get behind their team, you just never know, you might just enjoy the match day experience that little bit more.

Always been told to surround myself with positive people, it ain't half hard being a Leicester fan, bunch of negative Minnie's

100% Correct if the people that moan about the moaners, cant stand to read a Forum of peoples opinions, without the need to constantly call out negativity, then they probably shouldnt be on FT, god forbid people have difference of opinion on managers, players, tactics etc,, its almost like you couldn't possibly be a real fan, I like reading different opinions and am no expert, but I can guess everyone who is a bit critical on here, absolutely 100% wants a Leicester win once the team of Foxes kick off!

Actually think they will win this quite comfortably. Come flying out the traps and catch up with our pants down.

This does get said every week. Martin isn't a 'flying out of the traps kind of manager', and we find a way to compete every game.

My fear here is that Cooper sticks to form and doesn't realise the way to beat these is press them. At home a few months ago we were swarming pressing maniacs and they had no answer to it at all. Sure, we no longer have KDH but most of those who contributed to that day are still in the side. I think Cooper will see playing like that as too risky, especially away. If we let Southampton control the ball then you could see Martin's team actually play they way he wants, and the game will be down to if Southampton could actually score against us and if we can do anything on the counter.

Don't know if international duty hinders selection or not (certainly can become an easy excuse for Cooper).

My opinion here is that us setup properly using our resources to their full potential, we should be winning this 0-2 or 1-3. I think Cooper will setup cautiously and use the international break as an excuse not to start Fatawu (and probably Buonanotte). Also interesting to see if Ndidi starts after the ordeal the Nigeria team had. A cautious Cooper probably draws this 1-1 or scraps a 1-2 win where we cling on again in the 2nd half.

Can Cooper win away? Probably won't have a better chance this season
