As much as I poke fun at him for it (purely jovially, he's a lovely guy), @Daggers is an example of this. He's obviously not happy with the Leicester ownership and he'd like to tear himself away and follow Kettering but you can't just vaporise all ties to a club you've loved forever and pretend they don't exist.

You can. I have.

Why does the "Hawk Tuah" girl appeal to me a lot more than this fat bloke spitting?

Oh, I know!

He's vile, a player for their women's team needed a scan, for an injury picked up playing, and he personally intervened to stop her using the club's facilities, told her to go to her GP.

Watched Forest for first time this season on Monday night. Very impressed with the two centre backs however a very timid palace side had about 20 shots.

If Coops is brave and plays 4 out and out attackers we can get at them - especially in the wide areas as their defence and midfield are very narrow. Will be a tough game which we cannot afford to go behind in. Get the 1st goal and it’s there for us on the counter

Defensively Forest look alright, but then that’s Nuno…. I’m however not too fearful of their attack. Both their wide players are hit and miss. They’re clearly well set up, but I think they’re a fairly average side.

I just hoping Cooper learns from the weekend that we CAN take the shackles off, and we CAN be offensively a very good side.

Our defence has definitely been our strength this season and as I mentioned in a previous post it's mainly down to Milenkovic who I have no idea how we managed to sign. He's a champions league level CB without doubt.

I agree about our wide players, bar his winner at Anfield Hudson-Odoi hasn't been like he was towards the end of last season and Elanga can be very hit and miss generally. Luckily for them Chris Wood basically seems to score in every game at the moment but at some point others will need to chip in. I wouldn't be against Jota playing instead of Elanga as he's looked lively each time he's come on this season.

MGW makes a big difference

no idea if he’ll be fit enough to play on Friday

Hudson Odoi limped off aswell

they’ll be a very good test

playing wood means they’re happy to ‘stick it in the mixer’ (which we’ve never been great at dealing with)

Quite worried now...

I'm a lot more relaxed now we've beaten Southampton and Bournemouth. A point now isn't a bad result, in the context of the league.

"Average" always make me laugh in football. Pretty much all the league is "average" aside from Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

We're less than 10 games in so you can't really read much into the league table yet but Forest have got results away at Liverpool, Chelsea and Brighton this season already, having conceded only 6 goals. They're clearly not a bad side.

It’s actually a pretty good level to aim for in the Premier League. Before the season started most pundits would probably have predicted a 10th - 15th place finish for Forest and a 15th - 20th place finish for us.

If you were looking at this literally you’d probably say that Forest are a below average side and we’re a poor side. But you’re quite correct - the reality of the PL is usually that the top few sides are a different level. The rest are average to poor. On that basis this is a game we should target to win at home, but it’s likely we’ll need to be at our best

Okay, what I should have said is, I’m not overly impressed with them as an attacking force.

They’re as you say, a very solid team who won’t give much away, but I think we have enough quality in the team to bet them.
