I assume everyone moaning about this applied themselves?

Was just going to say this. Without knowing the 100 plus who applied, we can’t be too judgemental of those elected.

Judge them on what occurs. Or should I say judge the format on what occurs (that’s my larger issue - particularly if you look what Ipswich have aimed for in newly setting up a FAB)

Shame we haven’t got someone with knuckle tatts, shirtless or doing a line off the table but other than that looks pretty representative.

Jokes aside the club will want people they can easily influence or manipulate to tick this box, I don’t see any big swinging dicks in that picture from first impressions so it will suit the club down to the ground.

Is this thread going to point out every single community that’s not represented within the photo?

Ok

Where is the disabled person? …. And … they all look very heterosexual

They borrowed a few from the Southampton end on Saturday, that Vardy wound up

I can see a theme

Emily believes in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all

Graeme is a Season Ticket Holder of 25 years, has frequently worked with the Club to promote inclusivity and representation

Jo wants to help improve communication between the Club and its diverse fanbase.

Paul, is dedicated to strengthening the bond between the Club and its diverse community.

Ravi is an avid Leicester City fan, who believes the Club’s role in fostering diversity and community spirit. With a background as a director in the financial sector, Ravi aims to use his experience to improve fan engagement, increase access, and represent a diverse range of supporters on the Fans Advisory Board.

name change incoming for the club

I was thinking the opposite to be honest. Some loudmouth bloke from the pub would achieve the square root of **** all in this environment.  You need people who can put across an argument, make their point well and listen to fans.  What you don't need is every type of fan visibly on the board.  You also need people willing to put their hand up - and 100 is sod all of the fan base lets be honest.

Does this FAB have an power to change things, if all the fans reps are in favour of something will it happen?

It strikes me as just a talking shop and from a distance LCFC aren't exactly known for listening and acting on fans requests/ideas etc.

Been on a few of these in work and never been impressed.

I might have done a few years ago but age catches up with you I also have no confidence it will make any difference and the way it's crawled along so far doesn't help change that.

You know the bit where he said " jokes aside" that means he wasn't serious.

So no need to waste your time responding and I don't need to get annoyed by people replying to obvious jokes on the Internet .🙄

Please mention I'm a director in the financial sector...

Think people should give the group a chance, it isn't surprising that those who look smart and talk about diversity did well in an interview panel. Judgement should depend on the job they do, although I do agree it doesn't look that representative of the overall fanbase. They should have got an elderly woman, an angry bloke from the West stand who shouts expletives all game, coked up youth etc....

I'm actually surprised people are bemoaning the fact people dressed up smartly for a photoshoot at the club of a new initiative lol

Seriously?

What did everyone want them to dress up as?

It's the optics, standing their in suits next to the club suits and then talking about wanting a new fresh relationship with the club and fanbase. Look like fans not staff employees.

And what should they dress like, as fans?

They want to look presentable, no? I don't see much wrong with it.

As others have said above, it's their actions in the next few months and beyond which will be telling, not that they chose to dress smartly for a photo op.

Emily, Jo and Ian in normal attire come across a lot better than whacking your full suit on when you're meant to be representing the fans.

You're on the FAB you haven't been appointed as new CEO
