The manager needs to be his own man and ignore the bubbles such as Foxtalk.

Martin,Nigel Ranerri.or even Enzo wouldn't have entertained Foxtalk and the like.

He weakened the team by including Ricardo and playing two wingers.

He did a bit of Carsley before he was replaced.

Bold of you to assume that Cooper pays a blind bit of attention to this particular website.

we've got a full squad. Today was the first time Thomas has appeared in a squad, Vestegaard hasn't been seen for months (he's not actually injured), Kasey Mac is in the doghouse for something (Ayew and Reid offer nothing he doesn't). we're not so threadbare that a player not even trying in training still makes the squad

They’re all championship players lol

Are any of those players right backs?

Righto mate,  whatever makes you happy.

That's very kind of you, but I'm not happy about the performance overall! Where have you got that from?

Haha, fair play! I'm not his biggest fan either, but as long as Faes is at the club, he'll have to settle for second place.

Faes at least tries. He's been amazing for lots of games but also is prone to error. But Soumaré has never had an amazing game for us and is the laziest player I have ever seen

Tight first could have gone either followed by dull, uninspiring second half. Never looked like scoring in the other 45. Too easy for Forest sadly.

Subs slowed the game,.vardy cant play 90 no more.

Yep very good point.

They seemed to go more to their wingers with the first ball though rather than the second ball of wood to expose the gap each side on our back three in transition

Yep agreed.

Cooper took off Ricardo to balance the change to go back 3, but then we lost in midfield, trying to then chase it with a tonne of attacking midfielders.

Could’ve bought on Odsonne to try and spread the defence further higher up the pitch, but instead we had four players aiming for the same space, wingers tucking in as well as Facundo/BEK/Soumare. Absolutely no structure to it.

The calling for his sacking all the time is very tiresome. W2 D2 L2 of last 6. Think a good chunk of this fanbase won't be happy until he's gone, whatever the results are.

well our luck ran out tonight...in every match this season where we have managed to pick up points we have been very lucky indeed! I think Cooper gets out thought by opposing managers too many times.

Bad enough that a struggling Wolves didn't want him.  Bad enough that he couldn't get into a very nearly relegated Everton side who didn't want to keep him on in a cut price deal despite having other defenders leave the club and needing reinforcements.  Bad enough that one of the most maligned players in recent memory took his place for the entirety of a championship campaign and he never got a look in.  Bad enough that under a new manager he still couldn't force his way into the side despite that manager favouring premier league experience.  Bad enough that his only contribution this season has been to come on and give away a penalty in a 7 minute cameo preventing our first win of the season.

So, how bad does that make him?  Michael Jackson bad?

Hard to argue with any of that, he has been a disappointing signing, probably awful luck on timing of his first injury, but as you said Vesty a player we already had and hated at the time made the place his own, and every time he got an appearance he struggled to do enough to hold the place.

Yeah very gritty getting a point at home to an Everton side in terrible form, and very gritty against Spurs when they should have been 5 up at half time.

We agree to differ. All the best.

What other twats would have urged him to play a weaker unbalanced team and also to limit any Substitution impact?

Thought the first half was very good, constant pressure yet still only had one shot on target in almost 100 minutes of football.

They doubled up on Fatawu which rendered him useless (albeit he continued to try the same tricks on the same two defenders throughout....)

Seemed to target Justin & i can see why, absolute liability.

That is a shocking result tonight, to lose 3-1, at home, to a bang average Forest performance.

2nd half was probably one of the worst I've seen in over 30 years for a team with, on paper, decent players.

Literally embarrassingly  inept, devoid of any plan and leadership and individual  errors of sunday league proportions.

I'd have them all back in tomorrow  and sunday for training.

Only our number 40 came out of that with any credit the rest were 6's at best.

We need a leader on the pitch who can have a ho and get into the players and tell them they are w@nk.

How many times did we play through their press and get the ball to the edge of the box but our final pass was poor. We at controlled the game for large parts which is very unlike us. We scored a great goal and gifted them a poor one.

We can only play one good 45mins in premier league games under Cooper for some reason

Mads made a world class save but should have saved their goal - it was a Ward like save, moved far too slowly to let it roll into the corner.

I disagree with loads of this tbh.

Forest were there for the taking 1st half and we were poor , they were still better than us and they weren't anywhere near their best

The goal we conceded was in off the post, Hardy Mads fault.

I really am Cooper out but would say his defence let him down for all 3 goals

His reaction to those goals , especially 2 and 3  were utterly disgraceful.

A better coach/manager would get far more out of this squad

The first half was better obviously,  but I'd guess, and I don't know, that Forest would have shaded all the stats.

Aye i think you are probably right. But i did enjoy the 1st half more than any other game i watched this season. I hate just defending and inviting pressue, it just isnt 'fun' to watch - and thats a personal thing i guess, i know many posters had a 'thing' about Enzo's way of playing but i liked it.

Pretty much and the facts are forest are a much, much better side than us these days. It’s derangement syndrome, we’re in a fight for survival and they’re expecting Sid to win every week

not really the point is it? we didn't have one on the bench tonight, the point is that, accepting daka is injured, we've got 24 senior players plus youth teamers, at least 4 senior players miss out each week

Possibly a little more. This Squad is woeful by Premier league standard.
