Cooper's interviews and press conferences - he doesn't ****ing say anything does he?

 

The post-defeat interviews from this week, it's just drivel and bollocks. 'Taking responsibility' and 'Obviously we would have liked to win'

 

'Scoring goals is desirable and conceding goals is not a good thing generally'

 

'Like all teams we want to get points and we try to do that'

 

'Football is a game and it's important for football people to want to do well at it'

I think they'll over run us on the counter attack, and beat us. But it could be quite an entertaining game. 

 

I have no ill feeling towards Ipswich, and I wish them well. But we do need a win for ourselves tomorrow, I just hope we can keep the brain farts at home.

More an accurate reflection of how we tried our best to royally **** last season up and how that led to you guys ending up finishing so close to us. You had a brilliant season, punching miles above your actual ability under a very good manager.  Well done to you.

 

As to tomorrow's game as we suffer under our PE teacher of a manager, I think you'll struggle to find many on this forum who expect much from this game or tbf any game.

 

Probably more beneficial to you to go back to Tractor Talk in the satisfaction that tomorrow will see you achieve your first win of the season.

 

Ps. Both of us will end up getting relegated this season.

Most of the posts I can see are either predicting we'll lose because we're shit or rightly pointing out it's a game we should really be aiming to win because as a fellow promoted team you're also quite shit and haven't won any of your games. Sorry we're not all sat here creaming our jeans over how brilliant Ipswich are and shedding a tear over what a privilege it will be to play against you but I would suggest you're probably in the wrong place for that.

I've just had a quick check back over the first couple of pages and from those giving predictions, it's about 20 to 4 calling an Ipswich win.

I’ve been supportive of Cooper only because I believe he will get results on occasions and  clinging to the hope that he will get us 4th bottom end of season but lose tomorrow and I think I’ll join the get rid of him contingent.

Think they’ll get an early goal, we may pull one back out of the blue, but then they’ll pull away. They’re due a win and have been unlucky so far this season whereas we’ve been incredibly lucky. I’ll say 4/5-1 to Ipswich.

With Blooper you have no idea how it’s going to go. Despite all the negativity I wouldn’t be surprised if we win, but I can’t call it. Not seen much of Ipswich this season, and surprised they’ve brought so many new players in.
 

I thought we were good for 2 wins against them last season on the balance of play, and I think they massively prospered from Leeds and Southampton being more inconsistent than them. Whenever I watched them I couldn’t really understand or see if how they’d come through 2 divisions so quickly - which probably means with Blooper at the helm (and it’s away and Coopers record away in PL is atrocious) we’ll get a hiding.
