Surprised our plan of getting it launched up to three forwards who are all under six foot isn't bearing fruit

Strong start for the first 10-15 mins then some usual errors crept in and giving the ball away. 
Ipswich came back into the game and look the more hungry and better side finishing that half.

I can see the ref not seeing that in full motion.m but VAR can see clearly that was malicious and dangerous from Philips. Red card for me all day if I was in the booth.

Should have been a yellow very early on for Szmodics & red for Phillips.

 

But hey, it's Ipswich,  expect nothing less from last season. Phillips still got 4 yellow cardable offences in him.

People going to town on VK but he's so isolated because Mav doesn't want to bust a gut to get back, he also doesn't offer any outlet to get on the ball because he's having a stinker. He needs to get his head up and sort it out.

First 15 good, last 30 we’ve been outplayed. Been overran in CM. We are leaving huge spaces in the centre of the pitch and allowing them free rein to shoot from just outside the box.

20mins we were dominating then Ipswich realised all they have to do is press up meaning we’ll kick long and all they have to do is bully us. We still have this soft weakness to us after several years!

Aside from the first 15 minutes we've been incredibly sloppy in possession. Facundo has gone missing, and both wingers have been horrendous. 

 

Not really sure what the answer is today as there's no great options from the bench. 

 

I guess if we can cut out the poor passing and persevere we stand a chance of getting back into the game.
