Chelsea were a country mile better they didn’t need to break into a sweat . The players were screaming for a red which wasn’t given but most referees would have given. 
 

The second goal came about because Chelsea just move the ball with so much ease the player being down is not even secondary it clearly wasn’t a serious injury so why should the ref stop play? 
 

It’s manners mate, you usually kick the ball out when there’s a man down. Chelsea carried on and score from that side where JJ would’ve been.

 

 I’m not saying at all that they weren’t the better team, they clearly were and a point would’ve been incredibly lucky for Leicester, but Chelsea were poor and relied on shithousing because they didn’t have the quality to completely kill the game.

We looked like an under 7’s team first twenty five minutes. No organisation or control. Just kept booting the ball back to them. Another individual mistake for a goal. Lost count the amount of times we went to break. Stopped and went back. Two refs decision’s went against us that could’ve had a big impact on the game. Other than the penalty no shots on target. Poor.

Yep I think if we lose comfortably against brentford he could...but I expect the west ham home game to be the decisive game. He's clinging on now.

I was expecting a battering. So by that measure. I should be happy. But it's all feeling a little pointless to me. Having no identity or purpose is a vision I'm struggling to get behind.

 

Bouba and El K had a couple of nice exchanges. That's about it.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. He has brought nothing - NOTHING - positive to the team (I challenge anyone to counter that claim). No player has improved from last season, several have got worse, and his sole tactic appears to be ‘defend and hope’.

I couldn't even tell you what Cooper was trying to do. If he was trying to park the bus, then play 5 at the back and embrace it. Instead we tried to defend but helped Chelsea out by making James Justin run out of position as often as possible.

 

Take personal opinions out of it, purely from a coaching perspective he makes obvious errors that others will pick up on. In this game, Maresca changed the way Chelsea played so that Cucurella joined as a winger in attack, where usually he plays as either a CDM or number 8. In other words, Maresca used Steve Cooper's system against him. Yet Chelsea looked well coached and clinical whereas Leicester... embarrased themselves.

It’s the kind of performance that normally results in a battering. Didn’t even get close to testing them.

Just seen the post match interview with Cooper. Spending all his time critising the ref rather than taking any ownership of the situation. Again trying to cover up the major cracks we have. Every week he says should have defended the goals better. Saw Vardy talking at length with Ayew , not happy.

A joyless afternoon. A miserable game full of time wasting and weak refereeing. Complete waste of an afternoon. Set up for damage limitation. Cooper has no idea how to set that team up. Grim.
