Wasn’t meant seriously, if anything I’m sure he massively respects him for it

I’m sure I remember reading that RVN contacted JV to congratulate him on breaking the record.

Completely right decision to sack cooper.

However, RVN, massive no from me, not what we need. Done nothing to warrant a full time prem job, let  alone a dodgy relegation battle. Real, real  risk, I think it could be a disaster, and all these pundits and forest fans etc will say served them right for not giving nice bloke cooper a chance.

We just don’t help ourselves, we really don’t.

Proper negative. How did you feel about Enzo?

I know it’s a while ago but I remember Southampton getting rid of Nigel Atkins and replacing him with unknown Pochettino.
Imo it’s worth taking the risk with RVN.

We could also take a risk on Corberan who has took two different teams into the play offs in the hardest league in teh world and is looking like doing it again on a shoe string.

It's going to take a seriously strong individual to take on this squad as there seems to be a siege mentality between them all created by the bad feeling against Cooper. It's going to be someone who deserves and commands respect both by his footballing achievements and nouse.

Cooper had neither, blagged a living but got sussed out.

If Top really did base his decision to sack Cooper after a meeting with senior players then you would expect him to likewise discuss the new incumbent with them before appointing.

I thought it was a risk but one I was excited about given his learning from Pep and the fact we had maybe the best squad to ever grace the championship. For me a completely situation's and challenge.

I do however think our owners usually get appointments correct so hoping this goes the same way. Not being negative for negative sake.  I hope it works.

If it's RVN ,I would think he sees  it as a chance  that if he does well here knowing how Man U  get through managers,he'd have a chance of managing  there, which would be a win win for us.

I wanted potter but ideally with a bigger team that would change the entire set up.

I want RVN a lot more than I wanted Moyes, glad we are clear of him. Just think it’s a massive risk.

also add, that although I don’t think it’s the right choice, we are usually pretty good at picking a manger (barring cooper) so I hope it works and I will give him a chance.

WBA have scored very few home league goals this season and at the minute are drawing a lot (1 win in 10 I think it is). Our fans would want him out as do, if you look at their forum, some of their fans.

Cooper got two different teams into the play offs. Swansea haven't even been in the play offs since.
