Although I’m not against RVN I’d rather go for someone more experienced. 
My preference would be Schmidt, Kovac or Rudi Garcia. Or if it has to be a manager with pl experience I’d like Sarri.

Football is meant to be entertaining you know. Moyes is at the pragmatic end of a spectrum of pragmatism. WHam fans were desperate for him to leave. We need to consider a manager that might be with us for 3 years. Potter & RVN are better progressive options.

What is interesting it's said from the club that Ben Dawson, Danny Alcock and Andy Hughes will oversee first team training, but not as caretaker management duties which makes you think have the board already got someone lined up and be in charge for the next game against Brentford.

I highly doubt we will be looking at anyone outside of those 3 men.

Problem with RVN is he’ll see us as a stepping stone, he could well do a great job but then snapped up as the big 6 merri-go-round continues which would leave us stuffed again. I like the idea of Moyes, wanted him years ago when he was at Preston & we went for Taylor. I think he would steady the ship but more importantly, stick around.

I’ve been impressed by the bits I’ve caught of Tom Cleverley too.

 

However, I think he’s the sort of appointment you’d go for in the summer, not mid-season and fighting relegation.

Moyes has the experience but looking at our squad I just don’t think he fits in terms of his style, that’s not saying I’m a snob of more direct football, just don’t think we have the players for it.

 

Potter I think is a better fit on that basis.

I think the fact we escaped losing points due to our finances opens the field a bit - they certainly want someone with a little merit in the role before January. My guess is it will be Moyes, but it is just a guess.
