Can you explain your reasons for this?

I'm not convinced by him but he's young with some fresh ideas , but it would seem a risk.

We just need to stay up, even if it's not pretty to watch

Which would point to Moyes but I can't see it ending well and it'd have to be short term

Ownership must be confident that we have a replacement. Lunacy if not. I think we will have a new man by weekend.

Probably not then 🙄

My Personal favourite for the job would be Lee Carsley.

Plenty of options out there:

Carlos Corberan

Ruud Van Nistelrooy

Lee Carsley

Rodger Schmidt

David Moyes

Mauricio Sarri

Kjetil Knutsen

Edin Terzic

Niko Kovac

Sergio Conceicao

Urs Fischer

RVN worries me, hes a wildcard, and i dont think we need wildcards right now.

Why not look at a short term contract for Rafa Benitez who knows how to get a team with little quality going?

Because it’s not 2013?

I’d go Moyes all day long, particularly because he’d sort out the defence

Yeah, I'd be okay with that. He'd keep us up, and I the think players would respect him.

Whoever it is has clearly been targeted and has given the nod already, swift appointment incoming 👍

Like many, I want to see us have a go but still be steady at the back.

Cooper did none of this, so I'm just delighted they've changed things whilst there's still time

Not saying I want him but Moyes would tick a lot of boxes for the board.

Experience.

Steady Eddy.

Got West Ham into Europe.

Contacts.

Football is meant to be entertaining you know. Moyes is at the pragmatic end of a spectrum of pragmatism. WHam fans were desperate for him to leave. We need to consider a manager that might be with us for 3 years. Potter & RVN are better progressive options.

Problem with RVN is he’ll see us as a stepping stone, he could well do a great job but then snapped up as the big 6 merri-go-round continues which would leave us stuffed again. I like the idea of Moyes, wanted him years ago when he was at Preston & we went for Taylor. I think he would steady the ship but more importantly, stick around.

Tom Cleverley

I’ve been impressed by the bits I’ve caught of Tom Cleverley too.

However, I think he’s the sort of appointment you’d go for in the summer, not mid-season and fighting relegation.
