I'm really fed up of reading how we can't afford X and Y. We always manage to find the money to squander on shite players but as soon as it comes to biting the bullet to save some face and some pride, there's no desire. This club is blatantly riddled in corruption.

I don't think I've witnessed such a blatant attempt from a manager to get the sack, it's frankly disgraceful.

 

He talks about shaping the future of this club and  continues to play the same old players who do not have a future. At this point I'm now thinking we should get a legal team in and threaten to sue the guy for purposefully trying to get the sack.

I'm so pissed off at him. He was about 95% sure to get almost a free pass from me given how little I think of those above him and he's somehow managed to be that bad that it's enough to take some of the heat off them.

 

That being said we shouldn't forget that this was Aiyawatt, and specifically Aiyawatt's choice.

Yesterday was an opportunity to show the fans that he was genuine in his desire to ‘shape the future’, however despite being one of if not statistically the worst manager in our history, at least selecting a team with an eye to next season and hopefully seeing an improved performance and some signs of positivity may well have actually endeared him a bit more to the fanbase. 
 

But that team selection was an absolute joke, to continue to select not only a number of players who have been so poor over a period of time but also to include so many who have no intention of being here beyond the end of the season is just a disgrace and basically sticks two fingers up to the club, fans and the media that he is a actually telling it’s all about the future. 

The only player who should be given any consideration to be included in the final run in is Vardy for sentimental reasons, however the rest such as Faes, VK, Facundo, Soumare and anyone else already agitating for moves away or will be going back to parent clubs should be nowhere the matchday squad. 
 

Pre-match yesterday was the feeling that this could and should be a very different looking Leicester City, a chance to get behind something new, and yet in a dead rubber absolutely nothing to even give a nod to the future, not even an appearance on the bench for any of Evans, Aluko, Cartwright, Golding, Braybrooke etc. 

 

There really is nothing to endear RVN to the fans, he continues to ignore the fans at the end of matches and to tell blatant lies in his press conferences about the way forward, he has zero credibility and it’s a dereliction of duty from the decision makers at the club to sit there and do nothing, allowing him to continue this. People keep saying we can’t afford to sack him due to PSR, I say if it’s that tight then it would be a small breach so take the small points deduction as it will be less damaging in the long run or you sell a player before the end of June to counteract it.

His being so reluctant to make changes and bring in the youth / move out the likes of Faes who will be going / makes me wonder if RVN is trying to force the Club’s hand into sacking him before the seasons end.

I went to the game yesterday and was just speechless again at how poor the whole squad are. Bar El Khanouss there is not a single player who is Premier League standard in that team yesterday. 
 

RVN’s post match interview also left me speechless. ‘Players need to do it for Jamie, our captain has three games left at this club’ and blah blah blah. We all love Vardy, he’s our greatest ever but there is no room for sentiment in football. The players should be doing it FOR THE FANS. The fans who once again spent money and turned up in their thousands to watch complete and utter dross. 
 

I’ll get pelters but for me Vardy shouldn’t even start the last games. He’s looked absolutely abysmal for weeks. Let him come on for his good bye for some minutes in the last couple of games, but he should not be starting let alone completing 90 week in week out. 

The PR around Vardy has really helped RVN and the club navigate what has been another bloody awful week for the club. Two more defeats, two more games in which THE FANS have to watch us not scoring a goal. No questions asked though as it’s all about Vardy. RVN using that to his advantage.

 

I want the whole bunch gone who don’t care about the club, including RVN. He does not care about the supporters. Never has done .

Will RVN fall on his sword / walk away from a payoff because of his pitiful record - not likely.

 

At the minute we are witnessing a slow motion car crash - and I don’t see any chance RVN can turn around the squad / fans for next season. Expecting the Board to be brave is probably pointless, we drift on and on.

 

Get him gone.

Exactly. Put him on gardening leave, pay his wages until he finds another Club if need be, recognise any pay off in a future financial period.

 

We cannot afford the usual dither and delay and waiting until deep in the close season to make a decision.

I was at the game agin yesterday and have again woken up angry and depressed at the situation. However that picture has cheered me right up and I don’t even like horses

This is assuming the club think RVN is at fault, maybe the club accepts they haven't backed him, and the players are a major part of the problem, and even though they may see a better appointment for the future in the championship, they'd rather let him finish the season, because maybe Kingy doesn't want to take charge of this rabble at the start of his coaching career.
