It's alright trying to act the big guy when you have a wealth of experience and success behind you, but probably going to fall on deaf ears when you've achieved the square root of bugger all in the game.

Respect as a manager has to be earned, can't just come in and throw your weight around from day 1.

Club is just on its arse from the Top downwards, very few things that I actually like about this football club at the minute.

I wish more managers would do this when needed. The lads are an utter disgrace, we can slam the club as much as we want, but this group of players are a shower of shit, and just as responsible.

Ruud has every right to call them out, at the moment, they don’t really deserve support, lazy bunch of useless willy pullers.

We've heard this before from previous managers. Will be surprised if more than one more new player arrives in this window.

He's gone after Sunday, there is no chance he is staying around.

The reports of close to resigning is a desperate attempt to reach out to the powers that be, which is sad really. He is giving it this next game to see if he gets a reaction out of the players, if he doesn't, and the club hasn't assured him of numerous quality players coming in, he'll resign.

I like Ruud and think he could be a good manager, but there's a small part of me that wants to see him embarrass the club as it seems they keep treating managers badly by lying to them, and that has to stop

One of the most cringeworthy things I've ever watched, can't stand the bloke.

This is going to be this seasons 'play like that and we'll be fine' isn't it?

This guy must be the biggest blagger ever.

I was listening to Albrighton on the way over to Leicester before the QPR game. They asked him about young players coming through and the role that senior players play. He started saying "At Leicester we had..." and I thought to myself do not say Conor ****ing Coady.... and he named Coady. Played with him for one ****ing season. Could be recency bias I guess. Or maybe his cheeky scouse charm. Cannot stand the guy.

Not able to get his own back room staff ( I see Everton have got a new staff for Moyes). Board lying to the manager at the start about how much money / PSR status.

A top training ground facility but absolutely no strategy across all formats of the football club.

Would not blame him for jumping, I can’t see any manager turning us around on their own with these players and board.

I doubt anyone signed pre-last season would have a promotion clause in their contract.

Players had a relegation clause.

when we are promoted their wage reverts to PL level as before

The more it is disclosed of the inner dealings of the club, the less I like myself for posting things I have been about this and the prior manager. What a rats' nest Ruud has stepped in!

Change the manager name and you have the exact response on transfers since maybe 2020

I think we can all see why Potter didn’t want this mess

Quite funny how everyone was saying who does Potter think he is for dismissing us. People are aware the club is like this and he wanted to change the structure of it.

Rumour that Ruud was persuaded to stay on for the Spurs game I reckon he will be gone on Sunday night regardless of the result.

Whats the point of staying on if gone no matter what?

He was willing to come in and do that. Enzo wanted to do that. I’m certain Ruud is the same.

People see the potential of this club but due to the ownership, the directors, it’s being hindered.

There will be a time where we fall so far, they won’t be. We’ll have to hope for another Pearson, Walsh, Shakey combo

We as fans just have to protest and make our voices heard every game now till the end of the season, a change in ownership needs to be demanded.

If he is resigning they may have asked him to stay on for the game so not to disrupt the preparations too much and also might have offered him a sweetener to stay on rather than walk with immediate effect.

With zero incentive to win an important game. Makes no sense to me, but then none of our current predicament makes any sense to me!

I've said it before but I'm sure the club pays our players off to only say positive things once they leave.

There is also the fact that a lot of footballers a) don't understand that much about football and b) will obviously say positive things about their mates. Coady is obviously popular with the staff which is why he appears to get away with being a crap footballer seemingly more interested in podcasts. I'm sure we've all worked with similar blaggers in our time.
