The element of surprise some are expressing is, well... surprising. Almost as if 2 seasons ago never happened.

 

Thomas we know is nowhere near PL standard, Faes showed he is too inconsistent to be, Vardy the legend is sadly way past his past, Ndidi is almost a busted flush. Justin has never recovered from his injuries. Soumare is mostly substandard.

 

Wolves were happy to move Coady on, Palace ditto with Ayew. Okoli is new to the PL, Buonanotte is really inexperienced.
