Come on the lads! Let’s get behind the team! Buzzing atmosphere! Chants round all the stands! Drown out the away support!

I’ll be down the highcross Christmas shopping with the wife and I expect to hear you from there!

My dad: Why has he dropped Buenasnockas??

Because Argentina's capital is ineligible.

My main worry with Ayew is that he kills counter attacks stone dead. Always looking to turn back and keep possession but all our joy against WH came from quick transitions.

I said this last week. Almost every time he gets the ball, he turns towards our own goal. It's ridiculous.

Let's hope he can do as instructed and get us forward.

Surely RVN just needs to find that Rutter video from last season when he was gobbing off about Leeds as a bit of motivation.

I know Saturday/Sunday amateur football is a whole different kettle of fish but loved it when played against a player that was a bit of a douche.

He’s a good player tbf but yes he did come across a bit of a douche in that interview lol

Brighton’s front four looks juicy. Our back line needs to be tip top today.

Looks like they’ve gone for the Brentford approach. Having seen how many chances West Ham created they’ve decided our defensive structure is open season for their goal difference.

Mainly off the bench though, I haven’t really been that impressed when he has started

Is there a thinking that he’s better without the ball than Mavididi perhaps?

Ayew might be slow, but he is sharp. Again, i will reserve judgement under a new manager.

it's not that he's slow, it's that he offers nothing. ok, off the bench he can be occasionally useful but generally speaking he kills every attack, never has any desire to get forward himself and is like playing with 10 men. He should have been shown the door with Cooper

Could do with better pace on the wings, but clearly Mavididi hasn’t been impressing Ruud in some way.

Apart from that, I’m happy.

I found him quite exciting on Tuesday vs West Ham.

Exciting needs to return back to being productive for Mav. He has it in him for sure though.

Ayew done OK this season, far from pointless, he's two injury time goals have won us 4 points.

He didn't start though? He was worse than useless at Brentford. Missing the whole game with zero effort put in. Infact he was a hindrance.

I'm not debating his impact as a sub.

Again, you may be right. But some awful players played well on Tuesday.

I hope he's one of those guys that will play better with a Dutch voice behind him.

Maybe, but the threat of pace also has an affect on the opposition when they're in possession.

It seems to be a rare thing here but have complete confidence in Ruud selection today. I'm guessing that Mav isn't 100% match fit and is handy to have as an impact sub as Daka is too.

Who was decent at Brentford?

It'll pass  - this is the quiet period when we back the manager, but slate the players in the team as if they picked themselves   :o

So much for Alves being used.

If he’s not going to even been in the squad, he needs to go out on loan.

Fairpoint, but under Cooper not may did.
