That pass from Vardy was incredible awareness and calmness in such a pressure situation. He knows that if he passes and Reid misses, people will say Vardy should have shot. Just incredible by him.

Under Cooper we lose that game I have no doubt.

Great result with Ipswich losing. You just can’t overstate the importance of Vardy.

Some (most) of the players we have are truly dreadful at this level. You can see it’s going to be a struggle with some of them, especially at the back. Kristiansen is a pub player. What on earth were we thinking signing some of these.

Ruud has to learn that Mavididi is far, far better than Ayew and McAteer, even with his inconsistencies. Other than that we have to accept that making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear is going to take some time.

Of course it was far from perfect, but how much slicker do we look going forward, some of the patterns of play in the second half were beautiful.

Take the result and the boys ended up digging in but it’s worrying how many chances the opposition have against us every game.

Grit and determination was something that was missing , well that’s back!

Soumare is playing well now ( never thought I’d be saying that in a hurry).
Get our defence sorted and a bit of panache in the final third and Voila !

It literally happened under Cooper and we actually won the game 3-2 away at Saints! But I get what I think your point is...

Not playing until they are down to 10 men and comparing Saints to Brighton.

But yea I get what you are saying 🫡

Kasey and Ayew stunk out the first half.  Ndidi looks to pass backwards putting pressure on the defence rather than be progressive when he has a chance.

Vardy has such incredible workrate, instinct and ability. Reid did well and Mav got into the game.

Hopefully we can have a run of Vardy, Bilal, Fac and Mav. It would be nice to see VK and Mav develop some sort of connection.  Mav seems to never want to pass to him but his runs create space for Mav to cut back in.

I would love to see our midfield press and stop attacks more often.

Winks can’t come back soon enough. Soumare is such a weird player.  He can’t close down a player 2 metres away yet he’ll run full speed beating 4 players on 95 mins. The same with his passing, many loose short passes where he didn’t look who he was passing to, yet passed out some long balls nicely to get attacks going.

We were 2nd best most of that game, but still kept on fighting and pulled a point out of that. Hermansen did not have to pull worldie after worldie, so improvement, though they still created quite a bit, though their 2nd should have been prevented. Soumare even managed to not piss me off.

Ruud definitely changed our attitude a lot, so well done you beautiful dutchman.

People who are saying there are still flaws with this team. Well of course there are. RVN won't change things in a week. I've seen enough to be convinced if he is backed in January, he can make us a mid table team. His understanding of the game is light years ahead of Cooper's.

This will be a process and there will certainly be bumps in the road along the way but already I've seen more intent and belief in two games than I did at any point under blooper

It's just what most fans here say since the start of the season. Play direct, move the ball forward, commit bodies upfront. PL defensive units are easily exploited, players go into panic mode under the slightest pressure.
