No surprise we are losing that midfield battle. Newcastle are just running through it at will. We’re not able to get a footing the ball to even try and control the game….

Was always going to happen having all of the starting midfielders out, only way we get anything out of this game is battle and hit them on the break. But they’ve got too much quality for that.

I said it last week and some disagreed, but Skipp is ****ing dreadful.

We need Mav to get on the Ball more to relieve the pressure.

He just stops and passes it back every time anyway. Even when he's isolated vs the full back.

Feels like Cooper is back in charge. Understandable in some ways given the amount of players we have unavailable but disappointing in that Newcastle are crap and we're making them look like prime Barce

Home ground advantage Refereeing

Whilst there might be some of that going on that's not what the problem is.

We've not no fluidity in midfield.

We’ll do well to get in at half time only one down, this is worse than anything we showed under Cooper imo

Bilal is so quick over the first five yards. He is really coming on. Missing buonanotte big time here though. I’d even bring him on for hamza as the matters passing has been poor.
