No statement release is evidence for anyone who thinks this man cares that he ****ing doesnt.

He just doesn’t care. That was quite evident on Sunday when he sat there laughing as we were minutes away from a second relegation in 3 seasons.

I think the mask has now slipped and we’re starting to see the real Top.

Wonder if this goes back to that 'my hands are tied' comment. I know that brought about a lot of 'who actually owns us' comments, especially given no mention of KP as our owners anymore.

Mother of God

Lad's played a blinder to be fair, you don't put content out there that the masses will agree with as that's not going drive half as much coverage. The talksport recipe for success. Take a staunch position on either side of the debate and go in hard on the other side using words that will prompt an emotional reaction.

Interesting from Tanner on WYS podcast yesterday.

Whilst he thinks Rudkin is culpable in the mess, he's been led to believe he's nowhere near as influential as people think - nor that he's the primary decision-maker - and that Aiyawatt is the one who calls the shots on pretty much everything.

Obviously Rudkin needs to go or be moved into a new role, but it's becoming more and more clear that Aiyawatt is the problem.

I actually think this is way closer to what people genuinely think. With the success we’ve had under Rudkin he’s either a genius on a dry patch or our success and failure isn’t dictated by his

There really is no point in focusing on anything else other than getting this lot out. How do we do it?

The whole lot of them got lucky. It was nothing to do with Rudkin that we won the league. Nothing to do with King Power or Top or Vichai.

They got lucky during a period of time, thought THEY were the reason for success when it was a combination of factors, most prominently the good structure set up by Pearson and co, Ranieri's man and media management, then later the decent young players signed by Puel who Rodgers got to perform for a period of time. Other than that they have always been clueless.

Not so much Top but regarding Vichai. If you're saying it's just luck would the same thing of happened if Mandaric was still in charge ?

At this stage, it's as obvious as can be (since there's no transparency). Been saying for months that people need to be targeting Top not Rudkin (who is probably still crap)

Who knows, we were on an upward trajectory with Pearson building a structure anyway. I think it required someone to spend a bit of money, but King Power did nothing special really. If anything their obsession with tippy tappy DELAYED us as the put Sousa and Sven in before bringing back Nige to do the job properly. They have always had a weird vision. Top is no different.

There’s truth to what @Foxin_Mad says, because there’s been a gradual drop off since the death of Vichai, and a sudden decline under full control of Top. But all some fans seem to want to do is constantly make excuses for Top and his board room, rather than face the facts that Top just isn’t very good at running a football club. He’s not his dad.

Imagine if Top came out and said this instead of doing the “woe is me” routine he comes out with

Worth remembering how keen KP were to vote with the “Big 6” at PL meetings in years gone by

I can’t remember which one specifically but the club stated consternation at the Premier League’s rules and the state of competition in a statement after we won one of the panels. I’ll look for it later.

But I desperately want the club to kick up a fuss about it. Sue the *****.

Found some:

From September:

The Premier League first referred the Club to an independent Commission in March 2024 for an alleged PSR breach relating to the assessment period ending 30 June 2023. The Commission dismissed the Club’s initial challenge to its jurisdiction to hear the case, but the Club’s challenge has now been upheld by an independent Appeal Board, which reversed the Commission’s finding.

The full decision has been published at .

Leicester City welcomes the Appeal Board’s comprehensive decision, which supports our consistently stated position that any action against the Club should be pursued in accordance with the applicable rules.

To avoid any misunderstandings which may arise in light of the statement which has been issued by the Premier League in response to the appeal decision, Leicester City wishes to emphasise the finding of the Appeal Panel that, when considering the wording which is actually used in the Premier League rules (in accordance with established principles of English law) the Club did not breach the Premier League PSRs for the assessment period ending 30 June 2023.

In its decision, the Appeal Board (which was made of up a panel of three experienced, senior lawyers, two of whom are former Court of Appeal judges) identifies flaws in the drafting of the Premier League’s rules. In challenging the Premier League’s attempts to charge Leicester City, the Club has simply sought to ensure (in the interests of providing consistency and certainty for all clubs) that the rules are applied based on how they are actually written.

And last March:

LCFC today releases the following statement.

LCFC notes the publication today of the decision of the League Arbitration Panel (LAP).

As the LAP decision records, the EFL wrote to the Premier League on 20 March 2024 (the day before the PL brought its PSR complaint against LCFC), stating that the EFL would ensure that any sanction imposed by a Premier League Disciplinary Commission against LCFC would take effect while LCFC was in the Championship, whilst also noting that any points deduction sought by the Premier League would need to be applied before 4 May 2024.

However, after the Club challenged the EFL’s intention to act outside of its rules, the EFL subsequently unconditionally accepted that it does not in fact have any power, from any source, to impose a points deduction in the EFL which has been ordered by a Premier League Disciplinary Commission in relation to PSR.

LCFC continues to try and co-operate constructively with both the Premier League and the EFL to reach a lawful resolution of any issues relating to PSR, in accordance with our consistent commitment that any charges against the Club should be properly and proportionately determined, in accordance with the applicable rules, by the right bodies, and at the right time.

And the day before:

Leicester City is surprised at the actions the Premier League has taken today. The Club is extremely disappointed that the Premier League has chosen to charge LCFC now, despite the Club’s efforts to engage constructively with the Premier League in relation to the matters that are the subject of this charge, even though LCFC is not currently a Premier League club.

LCFC remains willing and eager to engage constructively with the Premier League and the EFL to seek the proper resolution of any potential charges, by the right bodies, and at the right time. The Club continues to take careful advice about its position and, if necessary, will continue to defend itself from any unlawful acts by the football authorities, should they seek to exercise jurisdiction where they cannot do so, as occurred earlier this year.

LCFC has repeatedly demonstrated its commitment to the P&S rules through its operating model over a considerable period, achieving compliance while pursuing sporting ambitions that are entirely credible given the consistent success that the Club has achieved in that time, both domestically and in European competition. As we continue to represent the Club’s position, we will continue to fight for the right of all clubs to pursue their ambitions, particularly where these have been reasonably and fairly established through sustained sporting achievement.

The Club thanks its supporters for their understanding in this matter and for their continued support for our team, whose success on the pitch during the final weeks of the season remains our primary focus.

Expressed in a club statement in legal speak but still, they were calling out both leagues about their fairness of their competition and the implementation of the rules AND were proven right at every time.
