I know things are bad, but there isn’t much evidence to suggest this would happen on purpose. Doing it accidentally is much more likely due to their sheer incompetence.

You could argue there's been an element of asset stripping the last two seasons.

Unless they've genuinely been used for running costs (which is more frightening), there's been 5 Macquarie charges that haven't been reinvested.

I suspect it must be running costs, we know that while in the Championship we spend our entire income and more on wages didn’t we yet we bought a few players and kept everything running.

This is my suspicion. Which is absolutely scandalous…. Having to take out loans to cover running costs…… we’re heading in the direction of Sheffield Wednesday…. Especially if we end up getting relegated again, as we’re likely to breach again.

Are there any other clubs in world football that have a similar weird cult around the ownership that we do? I certainly can't think of any others where a sizeable portion of the fanbase considers worshipping the owner to be a necessary component of supporting the club.

Man City, possibly. Chelsea under Abramovich too.

Most depressingly, Newcastle.

We're the only ones to be doing it while they're destroying our club though.

There's a gangster-owned club around 20 miles north of Leicester for starters..

Despite everything, would anyone seriously swap Aiyawatt for Marinakis?

He’s an odd bloke but he’s serious about getting success to forest … ours is not.

Didn't he storm onto the pitch with a gun during an Olympiakos match or am i making that up? I'd swap owners yesterday

Marinakis is a horrible guy and if you think King Power are dodgy, well…speak to a Greek about him.

Another reason I’ve turned off football is when you realise those lining up to own football clubs is one terrible person after another. Circus doesn’t even begin to describe this sport.

Just when you think our club can't stoop any lower

I’m surprised you haven’t had anyone tell you you’re being too sensitive and overthinking it!

The fact this has made it onto non-Leicester pages is very telling as to what a laughing stock this makes us…

You'd struggle to find a thicker, more inept commercial department in English football.

That will interest the 40 people in Thailand who follow us. Hopefully will help with PSR too.

Not unless we wholesaled them from the club to King Power for £10m each….

I don’t know if these have been mentioned in other threads but some interesting King Power news updates that I found through trawling the net are that King Power duty free have retained the Airports of Thailand concessions through revised agreements and more interesting is that the King Power Sunseeker yacht that Vichai purchased is up for sale for 9.8 million euros.

They've sold one of the Private Jets as well, and judging by the fact the other one hasn't been used for almost two months I imagine that is up for sale too.

Encouraging...... lol

No surprises there considering the former AOT president who was President when the original deal was signed is now the CEO of King power, he even got King Power a 2 year extension at the new reduced rates
