Is there a worse centre forward in the league than daka ?

I don't think so. He's just awful. Can Cannon come back next month?  I think any warm body would be an upgrade on Daka at this point.

Dont think there is much to moan about there, other than Daka not connecting with that chance at 2-1. Every time we pushed forward they were all over us and quick to counter. They are just playing a different sport to us right now.

Don't think Liverpool deserved 3, and thought Jakub was really good. Bilal great, FB pretty poor.

First half Soumare and Winks were superb, but 2nd half they weren't as good - looked like Winks was tiring so no surprise he got taken off. Mavididi was our best player.

Jakub was very good, and thought Vesty played well. Problem is his pace, so we sat so deep, allowing runners in behind. We need to play either Okoli beside one of Coady and Vestergaard.

Wasn’t the hammering I was expecting, but it wasn’t good.

I think we’re in a crisis without realising we are. There’s no confidence in this team at all, and any progression last season has been single handedly destroyed. Ruud doesn’t stand a chance frankly. The only positive was we blocked lots of shots to a satisfactory level, but other than that there wasn’t much to should about, we stood there and watched them score three goals fairly easily.

The last two weeks have just pissed away any hope I had, we’ve the look of a club that knows it’s doomed.

We have such a beige squad. A couple of elite players, a few decent ones and a lot of dross.

Results like this aren't damaging but the predictability is draining.

Not too disheartened by that. They aren’t actually a bad side. Although looking through the comments I think we’ve just lost to Yeovil Town lol and been relegated 3 divisions immediately. Here’s me thinking I’m one of the most negative people ever.

im usually like that too, I saw today as a free hit, the performance on the whole looked alot better compared to the Wolves game, the defence looked more confident with JS in goal compared to Ward

as i said earlier it was more about the performance today more than anything, a point would have been great but we've been crap at liverpool for a good number of years now even when we had a "decent side"

its one of them grounds for us

RVN is a clown. Wrong subs and did absolutely nothing to try and change the game in the last 10. We're going down.

He may not be the best manager in the world but this club has total crap on its bench.  No one he could have turned to was going to make a difference. Outside of Facundo, who on the bench tonight has Premier League quality?

How has Justin got so bad.

Criminal defending for the first letting him cut inside and shoot....it was so obvious Gakpo was going to do that and was probably being dropped into him all week.

He's targeted every game we play, and who can blame them. Trouble is there's no alternative unless it's Hamza or a lad from the academy.

So far away from that winning mentality that RvN talks about.

Cody Gakpo saying how surprised he was with how much space he had all game and the options he had probably tells us more about our side than anything we’ve seen to be honest.

Bloke does about as much research on the opposition as RVN.

The minimum. The chances of getting this many players who will actually improve us is statistically close to zero. Sadly.

True .... and financially the club will start planning for life in the championship... so it's loans or players out of contract only

Was always a damage limitation game just like our next two. Anything from the last three games would be a bonus. But we really have to start maximising points against virtually all the other sides. Missing players like Vardy, Wilf, Ricardo, Fatawu and Mads is just too steep a hill to climb at the moment. Really need the Mother of all January Windows to stand any chance now.

Too many brain dead players and too many that are happy to slow down play and pass backwards putting others under pressure.

Bilal is the only person in midfield who actually attempts and makes a tackle.  Winks played well, we missed him when he came off.

Another goal from JJs side where he leaves space then has to react and gets skinned.

Ayew is useless, for every goal he scores we have to put up with several games where he stinks play out by slowing every attack down to either pass backwards or holds onto the ball looking to fall over and con a freekick rather than release players.

Soumare was decent in the first half but likes to ping the ball backwards too often than try and turn. As soon as Winks comes off he forgets how to pass.  Useless in the press as always. For the third goal he ran back but then when he got close to Salah he stopped and let him shoot, why wouldn’t he keep running and try and block or tackle.
