This account knows jack all.

They do get some stuff like team lineups just before the official announcement but they're better for analysis than breaking news, as often they get that wrong. This latest tweet is clearly for engagement, says nothing more than the Guardian article.

Ruud will 100% walk if he doesn’t get backed.

Club know this and I think that’s why we haven’t appointed many staff.

Reckon Forest.

Something doesn't seem right with them under their owner..

If it’s Forest it would properly kick off as it would be seen as a clear attempt to prevent them from competing where they are.

Walking away from the two last management gigs is not a good look, but would be surprised.

It doesn’t, but he is likely to get sympathy if it turns out that we have breached and get deducted points. He can just give the club the birdies and **** off. Easy interview afterwards, can just say he was lied to by the clubs board.

lol we always get the doubters with this stuff but we all know it’s coming!

I would back up the fact that they don’t really know a lot, it’s an account of conjecture. But it’s pretty obvious from Leicester’s perspective the PSR issue isn’t over.

There are probably 6 club which are close to the limit, he's just guessing one will over.

If he know he would say.

They’ll hit us hard if it’s us.

This whole thing is so frustrating. It’s actually making me fall out of love with the game.

All I want is a competitive league with a level playing field. Shouldn’t be too much to ask for

If it’s us we won’t sign anyone, and yet we hear that Percy is set to tell everyone we’re about to sign someone…

The original poster said he was joking about this.

Most of the other clubs manage to get by without breaking the rules year on year. It’s not like we’re even actively trying to compete in the league under Top, so arguments of level playing fields are a bit moot.

If we had been charged trying to break into the top 6, fair enough. But we’ve been charged (if indeed true) by overspending and overpaying wages for rubbish players.

It’s hard to make a case for any sympathy when you’re paying £20m+ for Oliver Skipp. You can buy 4 better players with more potential and sale value from the continent for that money.*

*I understand the Skipp transfer is not in these accounts we’ll be charged for, but you can replace his name for majority of our signings.

... it can't be us?

We’ve avoided the charge for 22/23 already, 23/24 we were in a different league and it's not possible to breach this year whilst it's ongoing?

It has to be a club that were in the Prem last year.

Don't get me wrong, the EFL can **** us if we go down and the Prem can **** us next year if we stay up and have breached.

But the Prem can't do us this year, can they, not on the basis of what we've just submitted? That doesn't make any sense. If they do us this year it's because they've revisited the 22/23 issue through some sort of appeal but then why would that be happening now whilst they're busy with these recent submissions?

Doesn't make any sense unless I'm missing something obvious?

No chance it’s either of those.

I thought that United especially were close to the limit apparently? And Chelsea have spent a fortune

We should give this 90 minutes of football bollocks up, as this gripping edge of the seat financial jeopardy stuff is where it is at……

That's a good point.

Know I'm contributing to making this thread hot unnecessarily but Maguire's already said on TalkSport last week that he's heard noises from his sources that we're vulnerable to a PSR charge, even though the club are confident there is no issue. He's looked at our finances as well and he thinks it's dicey.

So very likely us in that tweet that's being referenced but nothing new.

We'll know for sure either way soon enough.
