Absolutely ridiculous decision making at the top of our club.

We spent double this on Skipp and let a better player our owners already own join a rival?

Just accept, we are going to be relegated. The board don’t cares. I can accept relegation, if we everything within our power to stay up, but this is reckless, thoughtless and spineless from the board downwards

People compare Forest to the 5000/1 team.

In January 2016 we signed Demarai Gray to bolster our title charge. He cost us £3m and was a top 10 record signing for us at the time.

They're trying to sign proven Premier League players for 30-40m+

I'm following the Championship relegation battle so in my head we're already down. I can tolerate this providing we get an overhaul at board level.

We'll as usual get the worst of both worlds though. Relegated but the same clowns in their jobs.

Funny you should mention January 2016. We forget that the failure to recruit a striker didn't backfire as we went on to win the league but it was the first signs of how indecisive we are mid season.

Our failure to strengthen in January 2020 and again in the winter window in 2021 when finely poised to break in to the top 4 again will forever haunt us but it also casts doubts against the view that it's only been in recent years we've made a mess of things.

Seem to remember us being linked with Remy all of January 2016 only for it to not happen

I think the fact he has gone there (Zaha) shows he would have been another Leicester disasterclass signing!

I don't think he had much choice as hes already played for 2 clubs this season, and the MLS are now heading into 2025 season. Granted he hasnt been great for Lyon but I doubt he wouldnt have been an improvement on Mavididi this season

Done alright at galatasaray as far as I understand 9 goals last season not great but decent for a loan winger

Just to say if Newcastle and Villa (much bigger clubs commercially than Forest) struggle to meet PSR rules even being in the champions league, then Forest will have zero chance. I can’t imagine Cunha going there when he will have bigger offers from richer clubs.

PSR is a heap of junk for this. Newcastle the richest club in the world have to sell before they can buy. Man City, Chelsea and co, carry on as you were.

Entire forum slagged me off for being against signing him and 6 months later he's in the MLS.

robbie-smoking-cigar-arsenal-tottenham-r

But he's in the MLS for the same reason Edouard can only go there.  He's played for Gala and Lyon this season.  It's nothing to do with his ability.

Is this going to be Lookman 2.0? Don't think he got enough chances while he was here, but would much rather we were bringing him on than McAteer or BDR.

Would have kept him, absolutely. Presume Enzo didn't want him. Frustrating as we could have kept him and got rid of Vestergaard.
