Incredibly frustrating player. Has all the physical attributes to be a solid player, yet always has an absolute howler in him. A Soyuncu, David Luiz, Romero type of player

Its about the right time. I like him more than most but understand full well his limitations. He's a 14mil defender and plays like one, although i don't doubt he always puts a shift in. He's done alright for himself here really and i dont think either us or him can complain really.

He has the biggest divergence of performance of anyone currently in the squad.

Literally can go from looking real international class to looking non league in the same game.

Not my sort of centre half at all and I'll be pleased to see the back of him.

2 years left on his contract, Belgium International, he radiates he thinks he's the bees bollock and with the clubs mentioned we should be looking for £10 / £15 million

His overriding issue is he thinks he's better than he is.

We don't think he's that good and he could be.

Neither did that Belgian journo last Autumn when he got rinsed after various calamities.

Do the hard yards mate, you ALWAYS learning and getting better or you'd be Rio Ferdinand, or Franco Baresi, Cannavaro or Chiellini & you patently aren't.

You may fire us to a 2nd relegation in 3 years.

Says it all:

"He made his debut for the club in a 6–2 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on 17 September.":appl:lol

Always had a soft spot for Wout, fancy he is a total tit and agree he believes his own hype, but at least he offers something different, even if it is disruptive and often bewildering.

Unfortunate thing with Faes is when he came we were all told he was a leader, a captain. Yet he's always the first to point the finger.

15m would be a 6m positive in our PSR position, with 9m left of his amortisation.

Seems like are serious about getting funds, with the noise around him and Cannon.

Robbery if we get £15m for him

About time we committed a few robberies. Especially with the amount we've had done to us over the years. Danny Ward and Liverpool, here's looking at you.

I wouldn't knock it to be honest. Would prefer a few million more. But it's money to go back in the coffers.

I'm not surprised this has come up now, from the rumours of leaving in the summer and him being dropped. He thinks he's better than he is.

Could not be more the opposite for me - he’s one of the players that got us relegated and although he stayed on it is only because no one would meet our valuation - hate his attitude and his inability to improve.

he was one of the first I would have had out the building 18 months ago and be glad never to see him again in a blue shirt !

That’s fair enough, no real idea why I don’t dislike him tbh

One of two things has happened today. Either:

1. Rudkin has come back off holiday; or

2. We’ve got some positive news regarding the PSR concerns.

There is no other way to explain why today of all days we’ve decided to wake up during this critical window. Loan players returning, a signing to be announced, players rumoured to be available. 2 weeks of silence and then bang.

Or getting our house in order before a transfer embargo 🤷‍♂️

So are Vestergaard and Coady the only centre backs we have that actually want to be here? Faes wants out Okoli wants out. I'm not fussed about either to be fair but can understand why some want to leave, the clubs a joke.

I think we can get 15m for him easily, honestly. He's the sort of defender who is great when you have to do relatively little defending; a big fish in an easier league could easily make the best of him. Could see him succeed for an attacking, ball dominant side in the Netherlands/Turkey/Portugal or France quite easily.
