No. We’ve had a few where we haven’t signed anyone. 
 

Although sometimes I think that’s better than signing a load of sh1t players that clutter up your squad, make you financially uncompetitive and lumber you with players you’ll never get rid of for a decent fee. In other words - the summer transfer window

we'll be lucky to get another 1/2 in

 

it will be the usually BS from the club 

"we tried but we couldnt get anything over the line"

I vaguely recall a window where we sell Fofana and get Faes...

Another article by Tom Collomose and more fingers being pointed at the structure of the club, the narrative is definitely starting to shift which suggests Ruud is voicing the same concerns as Brendan and Enzo. Pressure is definitely cranking up on Top and Rudkin to make some pretty big changes to how we operate as a club.

Most damming point in that article is the reference to the recruitment structure lacking. Nothing will change until Top and Rudkin are forced out

Mateta gets injured forcing palace to recall Edouard. 
 

We then sign three on loan - 1 prem and 2 non once other clubs have done their business leaving current players available.

 

£15-20m then spent on some South American, Asian and Scandinavian wonderkids.

 

12th place finish. Bosh.

I think it pretty clear we don't want to bring people in and be stuck with them if we go down.

 

So we are shopping in the loan with a option or an obligation if we stay up.

 

Makes it a tough markets to shop in.

What an absolute shite show this club is so many people at this club are just not for fit for purpose! Whole of recruitment need replacing as well as the board we have fallen so far! Will be another loss today and not even linked to a player disgraceful

Is it just me or has Collomose ramped up his rhetoric since appearing on the BSLB pod? Has @Ric Flair been pouring poison into Tom's ear?

I honestly don't think it does, loads of other teams manage to do it extremely well.

If definitely tougher then if you have money to spend.

 

I think there has been 4 loans in to PL clubs compare too 17 permanent transfer.

I don't normally get hung up on deals that don't happen, you never know what the club knows or our scouts know or what a player's preferences are or anything like that. All sorts of things happen behind the scenes, don't they?

 

But being absolutely desperate for another option on the wings and Edwards being willing to go to a Championship club and being available for a £1m loan?

 

Not gonna lie, that's baffled me a bit.
