Very excited by this.

 

Him and Milenkovic looked very solid at the Euros and its not turned out badly for Forest with Milenkovic since..

 

Hope its not another case of Interested FC.

Spending 20m on a 23 year old that hasn't quite managed to dazzle in Europe's top five leagues after two attempts (albeit being still young) sounds about right for a floundering Premier League club.

And the last sentence is why I classed it as unrealistic, especially as AC Milan have already been rumoured to have turned a bid down. Loan maybe, but even then he’ll probably get better suitors than us. 
 

A player like Pavlovic comes in the same bracket as Lilian Brassier, with the situation we’re in, they’d probably hold out for better.

For sure, I'm just being a pedantic bitch.

 

Although, tbf, it depends. If Cannon goes for 10, depending on how his purchase (and exit I suppose) are structured it's possible we've got about 4m profit left in this period.

 

Even acounting for a net 0 January, that still means we could sign about 20m worth of players on 5 year contracts. Given that Pavlovic wouldn't ACTUALLY be £20m as one solid fee, it's not entirely beyond the realm of possibility that we throw that much at one player if we think we can also maybe do a good loan.

 

We wanted a full back, centre back and a left winger right? That's what Percy said our priorities were a couple weeks ago, at least. Well we just signed a versatily LB/RB for pennies, the winger is our lowest priority and could possibly be covered by a cheap loan giving a young promising winger from Europe somewhere match time. Most important of those positions to spend any actual money on and make sure you really get right is the centre back.

 

It's not entirely outside the realms of possibility that we pay 15+ for one.
