We actually played well I thought, in big spells. Came out on the front foot first half and zipped the ball around nicely and quickly... 

 

simmered off a bit towards end of the first half but came out like ninjas in the second half. 

Proper effort and well deserved 3 points. Nice to be out of the relegation zone!

@martynis spot on, Soumare was great today. I've been hugely critical of him in the past, but he's been really good in recent weeks. Looks to have finally adapted to the PL. Long may it continue.

As with the defeats I'm not gonna go wild over this one. Lovely that we took advantage of one of the only other 2 truly terrible teams in the league atm (the other being Southampton).

 

Can't really take a great deal away from today as Spurs are as big a basket case as us, and another day they still probably score 3 or 4.

 

Really hope it doesn't paper over any cracks. We desperately need quality adding to this squad in the next week and I'm not convinced that this shape is the optimum if we fail to add reinforcements.

 

For the love of god do not start another premier league game with that front 3 Ruud

Stolarczyk MOTM - game management of the like we don’t have in the team. Some phenomenal saves, and had command of his area always.

 

Soumare - fking awesome. Look at the chop before our goal, created acres of space. Won the ball back and gained yards over and over. 
 

notable mention to Vesty…. Can he pass a football.
