Draw

WBA

Pompey

Saints

3/4 although the one wrong is spectacular.

WBA absolutely dominated Bristol City - puts our win into a bit of context and as I thought, they will get out of this comfortably.

If we lose rest of home, and draw rest of away, is it enough points to stay up?

No chance.

We can forget about West Brom really. They are pulling away and playing well.

Blackburn are grinding results out as well.

Portsmouth and Oxford are the ones. We need to get the away win monkey off our backs at Wednesday. We’ve been playing well away but not converting the 3 points. If we can do so at Wednesday, that could carry us to do the same at Portsmouth.

Realistically, if we can finish above them 2 in 21st by the final day, then it’s a sign of relief and disaster averted for now.

Are Portsmouth results as bad as people are making out? I don’t see it.

Especially when they can beat us at home.

The other night they created a fair bit against Derby without any real end product, but yesterday they seemed to have a right stinker and offered nothing. I think they are the ones who could swap places with us in the league.

Just been looking at our results from the start of the season.

Three wins from 4 to start, only 1 defeat in the first 9. In theory we should have improved after August, as JJ didn't feature in the first month, but we didn't

We aren’t finishing above Blackburn and WBA , realistically we need 2 wins in a row to catch up with them and I don’t see this happening.

Just need to finish above Pompey and Oxford it’s simple as that. Forget about the other 2! Finish 21st and breathe a sigh of relief after what has been the most horrific season

Portsmouth were reasonably good at home earlier in the season and that seemed to elevate them, but it has recently deserted them. Lost their last 4 at home, and still poor away.

Fixtures wise they've still got Ipswich, Coventry, Middlesbrough, Norwich. Plus us, which represents a huge opportunity to overtake them. They do have the game in hand but it's against Ipswich, and has been scheduled for the midweek before they play us.

Easter Monday will be huge as they host Oxford while we play Sheff Weds.

Portsmouth home to Oxford. Not away.

Our start to the season massively flattered us. We were very poor.

I still believe we will stay up. Portsmouth’s form is horrendous plus they seem to have lost their home form which was key for them. They’re going with Oxford I think.

We will scrape through just about as Pompey are even worse than us.

Oxford have had an epic go trying to get out but surely sooner or later they will run out of steam.

Even if we survive dont let it plaster over the issues we have.

It'll be the same again next season

I can still see Pompey getting 10 points more, possibly making our game against them the decider

Portsmouth have fight and character similar to Oxford and will find some results.

We need to get two wins in a row else that’s it.

I think so too.

I always felt this season was the one where we blooded the academy in, and next year was where they could kick on.

The horrific nature of the season is we have put Page back into the academy lineup, and Mongo no longer gets a look in.

If we stay up next season is going to be horrific.

Trouble is you can see Portsmouth going to Stoke last game and winning. Its almost a banker in my eyes. I think they'll beat oxford at home. We have to avoid defeat at the very worst. Probably need to win.

I think the only way we get rid of Glover, Top & Rudkin is if we get relegated. And I have to say they're doing a fantastic job of ****ing things up. Maybe Rudkin is an absolute chessmaster? Maybe he's the hero LCFC needs. Maybe he can see the only way to get rid of Top is to guide the club into administration in League One? What a guy.

Oxford have some very kind fixtures in their last 7 games (as do we) me being mr negative can see them battling their way to more points than us. Hopefully we can still pull WBA and Blackburn back into it otherwise it’ll be us Portsmouth and Wednesday going down.

If we win the two at Easter I think it gives us confidence to beat Swansea too. Then we could be ok.

I do know it's a massive IF for us to win that many in succession though

We've won 1 in 14.

To win 3 in a row will be a minor miracle. I'm expecting 1 win out of the 3.

We'll go if we only manage 1 win from those. Three brilliant fixtures.

But you may be right.
