Ruud made an interesting comment re footballing intelligence when King joined the coaching setup, maybe he feels these coaches don't offer that so they have been shown the door, but either way the club needs to either back Ruud or sack him, dithering about again get's us nowhere other than an inevitable relegation.

I mean Ben Dawson was an awful appointment from day one, there's literally noting good that has come from our training, we may as well not bother.

We seemingly cant tackle, pass, shoot or run, there's no movement to create space, we cant press, are terrible at set pieces both ways. All we can do it pass it around at the back until we lose it. I have been wondering what we do, its clearly a number of levels off what it should be.

I think any action now is too little too late, but maybe if we can begin to see some improvement.

With regards to young players, I can understand the logic of not playing them in the current toxic environment.

Precisely my first thought too.

RVN’s future depends on the West Ham game. If by some sort of miracle we win, then he stays. If we lose then he goes and the new man with his own team I suspect we have already lined up will be appointed. With the FA Cup weekend it allows more time for a new man to sort it.

I'm not usually one to moderate... or blow my own trumpet on a theory lol.... but it being exactly 3 months to the day cooper left points more towards two blokes working their notice period whilst we got BBM and King into the coaching set up than anything more untoward. Might be worth locking this?

As much as others have said "what have they stayed for 3 months for" can you imagine how pissed off we'd be as fans if Ruud has spent the last three months opperating with his GK coach mate, a set piece guy and no one else? lol

It's exactly this

I think you are giving these inept ****wits far too much credit for having a clue. There is no way on earth they have anyone lined up, no way.

We don't seem very fit

Absolutely no chance. Completely out of keeping with every departure we've had under KP.

They are more likely to give him the game after the international break vs Chelsea that we are expected to lose (sound familiar?), and then sack him before the Man Utd game and pop a random caretaker manager in charge.

We've given up so will save money by not bothering with a full staff. It'll be Ruud, Kingy and Filbert from now with Rustie Lee on Tuesdays and Thursdays, it'll be a laugh and we'll save some money.

Just seen this too.

Ruud has his own support staff incoming?? Would suggest they’re finally offering him a shred of support?

Should’ve happened in December.

We are the fkin pits.

Another attempt by the club to distract fans from the real issues at board level.

Ruud next please.

No point.

Ruud inherited a very poor squad.

His squad consists of five Prem quality players and the rest are sh#t.

Whilst for me, Ruud should go. If we are going to stick with him he needs his own team. But this should have happened when he came in...its pure arrogance from the board again, arrogance we've seen continually since the Ryan Bennett January window.

Highly unlikely. There are very few decent candidates out of work at the moment & no manager in work is going to quit at this stage of the season, so rushing to appoint somebody now will likely result in a substandard appointment. IF Ruud leaves, we'll have far more candidates to choose from in the summer.

I love your analysis but genuinely can’t think of what Bouba has offered.

He looks more mobile (dare I say fitter) but I genuinely can’t wait to see the back of the big lump.

Doesn’t create, doesn’t offer much protection. Pretty much living off that run against Ipswich.

I think that's a fair assessment, but put it this way; he HAS offered more than Winks, Skipp and Choudhury. So given how poor our players have been, including him is the right way to go.

Of course signing Skipp and not using him when we have so many issues with the rest of the squad is the tragedy here, likewise Edouard.

I don't think one more game matters. We've lost 6 consecutive home games without even scoring. If they aren't sacking a manager after that then I don't know what it will take.

Dawson should have been out after the Brentford shambles the first time round. All seems a bit late in the day to be offering Ruud his own coaching staff now.

Rudkin got confused and sacked him after the wrong Brentford game.
