Stop moaning, we were in league once, be careful what you wish for blah blah blah …… how utterly uninspiring. We are no longer forward thinking we have become those clubs who used to hire shite like Mark Hughes, Tony Pulis, Bryan Robson, Paul Jewell and Steve Bruce.

Whilst I'm not keen on a Dyche / Wilder / O'Neil situation, I dont think we should be losing our minds on it not being Rohl. There are numerous reasons why it might not be him, not least of all perhaps he doesn't want it? And if we have been strung along so far (as with Potter) how much longer do we wait?

In addition, while Rohl might be a more exciting appointment, he's arguably the most risky, at a time where risk is probably something not only do we want to avoid, but we probably can't afford.

Not sticking up for the club, this situation is entirely of their own making, but we are where we are and we've got to make the best decision on that basis.

To re-iterate - I can't say that I want any of the 3 mentioned above, but I dont think its as binary as some make out that Rohl is the correct choice and these are the wrong choice. Nobody knows.

Lets play devils advocate and work on the optimistic side of Dyche or Wilder (I don't know enough about O'Neil)

Dyche / Wilder - both strike me as types that will instil discipline and won't tolerate some of the antics we've seen so far. They're also much more likely to challenge upwards on the running of the club.

Football may not be great on the eye, doesn't mean it won't be effective. Maybe stability is what we need over throwing caution to the wind on a manager that while may be an exciting PROSPECT,  is just a that, a prospect.

Zero ambition, zero progressive thinking, zero drive.

It makes you feel as though we've literally picked up the phone to agents and gone 'who can you get us?'

We had months to properly profile and identify someone. The money excuse is nonsense if you are chasing someone outside of the PL or in the CL, every manager wants a go in England. I'd rather have ****ing Damien Duff.

At the VERY least, Wilder did change his style last season. No more 3-5-2. So we'd not be stuck with that.

Gary O'Neil as in the Gary O'Neill that probably would've had Wolves relegated instead of us had they not sacked the numpty?

Everyone's issue should not be with it "not being Rohl" it should be with the timing.

If we end up with Dyche, what the **** have we been waiting for? If we end up with O'Neill, what the **** have we been waiting for? If we end up with Wilder, what the **** have we been waiting for?

Exactly.

Love the people over reacting to Wilder being on the list when Gary O'Neil got an interview and most aren't batting an eyelid lol

The only opposition coach I’ve seen at the KP make a tactical substitution after 20 mins which made a difference and effectively won them the match. Not too big to admit he’s made a mistake and wait till half time.
I like him and for a club in our position I reckon he’ll do well and the players will like him (especially the youngsters)

Was one of the few who preferred Dyche to Rohl (hides in corner)

But with the latest thats come out it appears the club are going down the "he'll do" route

Whoever comes in as ever will get my support, regardless of who it now is, but like everyone, it looks like its going to be very uninspiring

Can someone post or write something about Wilder changing his tactics last season and bringing through multiple academy lads so I can at least bare his possible appointment?

Come with any coaching staff?

Why DID they bottle winning the league (and then promotion) ?

I feel sorry for you and @Loxm

Starting a fan channel, then having to analyse Cooper ball, to Ruud ball, to potentially Wilder or O’Neil ball.

You should just do every stream with a bottle of bleach by your sides 👍🏻
