I warned the bloody idiots on this forum that this manager's appointment was based on his legacy as a great footballer and nothing less, I was laughed at.

Would those dickheads like to come forward and apologise?

Maybe he wasn’t the best appointment but for gods sake you have to cut him a bit of slack, look at the rancid squad he has inherited and very shortly after his appointment Fatawu received his season ending injury.

starting 8 defensive players plus Daka really gives you no chance of scoring . Wilf still trying to be an ACM is baffling. We can’t defend so what's the point. Ruud seems to be clueless.

No slight on you personally, but why on earth did you go?

I genuinely cannot believe anyone normal wanted to attend tonight

The 17k drongos we have I get. But you sound normal

It's a fair challenge haha

Was just a sport day with some mates, pub crawls, cup final etc. and we were just about drunk enough to think it would be a laugh.

I've made worse drunk decisions, not by much though.

Just one of the smaller issues but a real bug bear, did Winks realise we were behind? It’s just that he receives the ball, waddle, waddle, waddle then a 30 yard backwards pass, like a reborn Mendy.
But he did manage a shot of sorts instantly tripling our XG.

I've never seen a wing back so reluctant to get forward as much as James Justin. What on earth has happened to him? He doesn't even entertain taking on an opposing player... immediately gives the ball backwards like he's an imposter that shouldn't be playing.

There's got to be an element of coaching and common sense though, and there doesn't seem to be much sign of either

He can't run since his injury. Ruined him and not a good enough footballer to get by with reduced mobility like riccy p is

I've cancelled my trips to all the matches.  The only one due to circumstances is Liverpool for which I promised peeps I would go.

Wolves away i might get forced to go, tbh I cannot be arsed

I wasn’t going to go again, but my mate was desperate to go, for some reason…..

But I’m 100% not going until king power have ****ed off.

Sorry, I can't cut him any slack. We haven't scored a home goal in seven games !!

That's poor tactics, even with the squad we have.

No wonder we don’t score goals with wing backs and holding mids who get a nose bleed past the half way line, and a 20 year old in his first season in the country as our sole creative presence.

Post-match commentary sounds painful. RvN sounds beaten, may as well jump before he is pushed. And regarding the "things not falling our way" comment, we make our own luck and the table and stats don't lie.

Doomed. Dreadful. Disastrous.

Absolutely no slack deserved whatsoever.

Embarrassing levels in every single regard

We simply don’t look bothered

I just don't buy that.

They have been totally destroyed by the 'manager'...

They are sent out into battle with five of the better players sat on the bench and only the most rudimentary of tactical set ups for the awful xi he selects.

It's like criticising World War 1 soldiers for not being enthusiastic enough going over the top to be machine gunned.

The man has totally and utterly destroyed the players.

Worst man u side ove seen in 30 years and we still rollover and get our balls tickled.

Truly hate these players and the club at the moment.

Glad theres no more games for a while.

Needs massive changes but nothing will happen.

Hope they all enjoy their holidays.

No. 7 consecutive home games without a goal. It’s a top flight record. 1880s. This bloke does not deserve anything. He has made us much worse and, quite frankly, a joke. Any serious club would have sacked him months ago.

I’m fed up of this “but it’s a terrible squad” excuse. There is no excuse for 7 consecutive home games without a goal. None at all. He is one of our worse managers of all time, if not the worse.

But it really is a truly rancid squad! our new additions are a fcuking joke, no one who has come in has improved our squad , and I’m fed up with the clowns that allowed such utter shite to be signed and be stealing a living as professional footballers.

Not really, Rudkin out at 14, shouted at by the clappers.

Lots of people telling others who were unhappy "It's man united, what did you expect" or "look at southampton and Ipswich, the gap is too big, what cab you do?"

Most of the vocal fans were gone by the end so they still got applauded off by a large section of the fans.

It’s the worst man united team in memory, and we made them look like the class of 92

I always wondered what it would be like to be San Marino, Malta, Faroe Islands etc, turning up knowing defeat is inevitable, even a goal is unlikely. Fans and players, just on a hiding to nothing.

Agree with this. Nobody is keeping this squad up. (And for those extremely weirdly banging on about Cooper, that includes him!) Issue is we have the worst talent to wage ratio imaginable. Clear out* needed before we can really begin turn the corner.

(*Well except Mads and Fats haha!)
