I know the club is a s**tshow, but confidently assuming they've binned him off rather than it being his decision just looks like rationalising any blame that might be thrown at the club.

Maybe, just maybe, he's had enough.

You may be right, but reports suggest that it's less to do with money and more to do with the power and influence Vardy has in the dressing room, which Rudkin feels undermines both him and RVN.

I hope you’re wrong, if it is that, then that’s not a good sign going forwards. That to me indicates that both Rudkin and RVN are staying😡

I think it's a bit of both myself. I genuinely think the majority of the decision is his own.. I just thought the shorter clip was a little strange.

He was looking directly into the camera for the entire filming.. apart from when he said 'now I think the time is right' where he looks at the floor instead.

I'm no psychologist, but I was always led to believe that breaking the stare at particular points, especially looking down usually means that it is not genuine. But like I said, I'm no expert.. I just feel there is a little more to it

To be fair to him regardless. He's earnt his right to experience something new.. I just hope it's abroad myself

This has clearly been rumbling on for a while. There’s been times this season where he has refused to come off.

I would have been tempted to give him a go next season, but at reduced wage. But that might have been wrong given his age.

If Vardy’s influence has started to be detrimental within the club, this may be painful but it also might be a good move - sadly. And it feels strange saying that because I love the bloke.

It may well be the right move if, as is likely, player power has become a major problem at Seagrave. However I just get the sense that Vardy is desperate to prove he can still do it at a high level and we will have to deal with watching him score goals for a PL or Championship club next season, possibly against us if it's the latter.

What with the way this clubs been ran, the passiveness of the general fan base, we fcking deserve to have to watch that happen against us.

All of this makes me sad that Kasper was shoved out the back door when he left. He also deserved a big send off.

Really hope we can get some sort of testimonial this summer.

Morgan and Fuchs left during Covid. Injuries took retirement away from Huth. Then there's Andy King too.

It's only really Albrighton that has retired and given the proper send off at Leicester under King Power rule. Even then Aiyawatt wanted to take the limelight with the trophy and his cronies.

Possibly. I could see someone like West Ham taking a punt of him as a squad player, but if I was him I’d go link up again with Dean Smith and Fuchs and piss it up in the MLS.

Charlotte are on the up too, times it right and he could win them their first title.

Ah so Vardy is the reason JR dishes out contracts to the likes of Vesty and Ward.

So many of our finest memories because of JV. This current season won't even register in a couple of years.

It doesn't feel like it does even now. Even that 01/02 season, that I thought couldn't be worse, had a couple of moments and a bit of character. This has just felt like a void of soulless nothingness.

Gutted that the goat is leaving BUT for once you can’t knock the succession planning of the club with upcoming speedy youngsters Bobby Reid and Jordan Ayew ready to step up and back up the proven world class striker Patson Daka. 👍🏻

Planning what is that
