I thought they broke it last year too ?

Alnost every club in England has made a loss and it will keep getting out of control like that too .

No. They posted a £120m profit last year because they sold the women’s team to themselves for £200m.

It is ludicrous.

This from The Guardian’s report of it too - “In February, a Uefa report put Chelsea’s losses for 2025 even higher – at €407m (£355m). Sources close to the club say the difference between that loss figure and the one reported by the club on Wednesday is due to the different reporting requirements applied by European football’s governing body.”

Yet we were only the 5th highest earners, because of the broadcasting arrangement gifting more games and therefore more money in facility fees to the “bigger” clubs.

The same measure used to control how much clubs are even able to profit.

The entire financial structure of football in this country is a reprehensible piss take.

I remember Southampton being decent but I can’t remember them being 3 points off 4th. Would've been incredible if they made CL that season too.

Some of the players they have had over the past decade, Van Dijk, Mane, Tadic, Wanyama etc, they are as much of an example as us as how quickly it can go wrong losing good players and buying rubbish. Ironically we went on to buy some of their rubbish lol

One of the main ways in which the rich keep making more money off everyone else is by limiting how much income everyone else is allowed to have.

The PL is relatively fair in revenue distribution compared to other leagues - it’s why Brighton, us, Villa, Palace, Forest, Wolves etc have all finished in a European spot relatively recently.

Don't tell me the premier league is not corrupt?  Chelseas figures are ludicrous, plus they sold their womens team and hotels to themselves to comply last year...

Now, Newcastle United are also onto it selling their own stadium to themselves and the premier league have ok'd it.....wtf?

Meanwhile we will hammer the likes of the little clubs Leicester, Everton, Forest because they are easy targets and they are not allowed on the top table.

Whole thing is a farce

Bernardo Silva leaving Man City at the end of season.

A fantastic player for them over so many years.

Given so much to Pep's team.

Will he stay in Europe or go further afield?
