Think it makes more sense when is known that these people genuinely, honestly, don't think they're beclowning themselves. They really think what they say is truthful.

I think simply the internet has for the first time ever allowed us to constantly spread and advance our beliefs in public, and to do it instantly, and it becomes impossible to resist. We are all guilty I guess.

Because the internet gives people the power in their fingers to say things without consequences, to a point.

 

20 years ago, people might have their opinion in the pub after a couple of jars and then get lamped for either being racist, abusive etc etc. Same goes for a football forum  plenty of keyboard fiddlers but in person would be scurrying away from confrontation or discussion like a mouse being chased by a cat.

Only when you forget that you can pre-heat your car and also use the app to "unlatch" the driver side door without even touching the handle.....

Also if someone crashed in a tesla and it was on fire and someone from the outside had to rush to get you out and never used a tesla door handle you would be cooked

 

P.s. with the new update, how annoying is it when you indicate without pressing fully down it does 5 indicating signals instead of the normal 3 like other cars? infuriating, thankfully new car comes next week

On the balance of things, probably more likely.

 

The whole debate around jury nullification and the right of juries to apply it is very complicated.

A lot of them posting behind the keyboard have probably never even been to the uk, and are from countries who want to sow division in the uk though

@st albans fox just read about what you posted. I thought amidst what was going on at DMU that it was linked to that! 

 

Turns out it was to do with the support of a certain Middle East area. Whilst I see the support of such an area well intentioned, swinging a sledge hammer to a Police officer is fvcking wrong on all levels. I hope that person gets sent down for a long time as it'll be richly deserved and welcome. I don't understand the thinking behind it as if it'll make them more popular or garnet more support. It's obscene.

It's fairly quick to remedy. You gently thump the larger end of the handle a few times with the fleshy part on the bottom of your fist to free the mechanism. 

 

And yes it actually tells you that in the manual!

Yes this isn’t great, will just have to make sure I don’t crash.
 

I don’t know that the indicator update affects me as I have the new shape model 3 with the indicators on the steering wheel, which is enough of a pain in the ar$e as it is.

The person charged wasn’t acquitted but neither were they found guilty.  So unless the cps decides to ask for a retrial, that person will not be sent down at all. 
 

as Mac has posted, jury nullification is complex.  I think it’s a slippery slope and whilst some are extremely happy and celebrating today’s outcome, they could just as easily be horrified with an outcome in six months time. 
 

I think lammy will look at this and come under a lot of pressure from the police to press ahead with his plans.
